Trusted teacher: I am a Spanish native teacher, with extensive experience teaching Spanish to foreign students at from primary and secondary levels and higher education. I have taught American and UK students over the last seven years, whilst pursuing my studies in Spain and in the United Kingdom. I was recently awarded my PhD, through which I learnt methodological aspects of teaching different types of public from different backgrounds. My classes are dynamic and centred on the student's progress, carrying out different interactive activities, role-playing and exercises that will make the student increase his/her confidence with the use of Spanish, whilst learning grammar and vocabulary. I usually give the students the opportunity to send me writings that I correct at home, and I recommend listening activities that will help the student to improve his/her understanding of the language during lessons. My complete proficiency of the English language makes it easier for the student to ask specific questions or to understand how some expressions work in Spanish, having my English explanation at hand (in order to make them fully understand the most difficult aspect of Spanish). My lesson with Juan was perfect for my needs. Having a conversation sitting outside a coffee bar in Ibiza is very different from learning Spanish in a classroom. With Juan you learn Spanish naturally and in context, He picks up on areas of weakness, helps you sound more like a local and explains grammar where necessary. Juan is a lovely person and it was a pleasure to spend time with him. I'm already thinking about the next time I can get to the island and take more classes. Fully recommended!

Cristina is an amazing teacher of Spanish. She quickly seemed to assess my level and spoke to me only in Spanish throughout the lessons, at a speed which was appropriate for me to understand. She spent as much time as I needed to explain a particular point and was very patient. She was also friendly and approachable. I would recommend Cristina very highly to anyone who is considering Spanish lessons.

Ruben is very nice, patient and professional! He is coming to my house for private lessons and i already learned a lot. He makes the lessons fun and motivating and gives useful explanations that an app just can‘t provide. I‘m looking forward to keep studying with him and improve my spanish.
