I am an engineer and I used many day to day applications to inspire students. My lessons go in search of the right vocal gesture, the one that we produce comfortably, while finding our own voice. The course revolves around a warm-up, vocal exercises, explorations and is based on the repertoire that the student chooses or that he wants me to suggest. Hello, I offer jazz piano lessons and current music adapted to the needs and requests of the person. Depending on the objectives and the level of the person, the work may focus on rhythm, work on the ear, harmony (chords, theory), improvisation (solos, having fun with chords, improvising a melody on chords), learning a piece (jazz standard or more recent piece). Scores can be brought, even if I prefer to favor an oral approach for the lessons. Finally, my classes do not follow a particular protocol. Course content will not be predefined in advance. Thus there will be no "work to do" or work imposed on the person. We can very well see a piece and the following week see something else. The rhythm and desires of the student are therefore the priority. My role will be to help him as much as possible and to give him the necessary keys to achieve his personal goals.

Hello, my name is Oussama, I am an engineering student in applied mathematics at CY Tech Paris, after two years of scientific preparatory classes MP (Physical Mathematics), I passed my entrance exam to the Grands Ecoles d'ingénieur (CCINP written and oral, X written). I am currently in applied mathematics training for Finance. Here is the structure of a typical session: > Answers to (possible) questions from the student (for the entire session if necessary) > "Profitable" exercises (proposed by the student and/or chosen by me). Answering a question in maths is above all navigating using tools from point A to point B in the mathematical universe. So I don't do the exercise in place of the student but I'm there to guide him to the only places where he gets stuck in order to give him the tools, the reflexes and the knowledge that will allow him to move forward in the future. The goals of my sessions will therefore be to find the places where the student "blocks" and to remedy them. That being said, I adapt above all to the requests of each student.
