I am French, with a Master's degree in Biology, and experience working with students in the French education system in Medellín. I am familiar with the demands of primary and secondary school, as well as the difficulties students may encounter in SVT (natural sciences), French, or with work organization. I speak Spanish and English, which allows me to easily adapt to Colombian or bilingual students and communicate clearly with families. I like to teach patiently and pedagogically, respecting each student's pace. My approach combines course understanding, study methods, and practice, so that the student gains confidence and independence. Each tutoring session is tailored to the student's needs. Miss Sara is a very good teacher. She has a way to keep my 6 year old daughter engaged and encouraged while increasing her abilities in French. I have seen my daughter improve drastically. She challenges her and she started reading many words in the space of 3 months when she could not before in French. The exercises she gives touches a wide range of topics (syllables, vocabulary, sentance building etc) that has allowed my English speakig daughter to cope well in her French school environment. She started understanding what people say to her in French which is amazing.
