As a violin teacher, I have years of experience teaching in conservatories and music schools in France (vitré Conservatory and Broons musique school).
As a violinist, I have played as a second and first concertmaster in a couple of orchestras in France (Saint Etienne, Rennes). I have also played in chamber music ensembles in different countries.

I started violin at the music conservatory in Iran (Conservatoire Superior de Musique de Teheran) where I got my diploma and bachelor's degree. Teaching music is teaching a new language. A language that must be learned in all its different forms (speaking/playing, listening, reading and writing) in order to be understood.
One of my main interests as a piano teacher is to provide the students with the most possible instruments for their own development, in order to awaken in them the consciousness of being as they play their instrument.
In the current experience, everything is moving ahead of you at a very fast pace and almost even digested. To come into contact with the art of playing the piano is to immerse yourself in the most beautiful experience of self-discovery while making music, in a bottomless sea of inner growth.
Teaching is another form of communication, keeping traditions alive and giving life to the information by passing it on.

With the Suzuki method, everyone can learn to play the violin!
The main components of the Suzuki method are:

Start young (from 3 years old).
Listening to music frequently.
Learning to play before learning to read music notation (native language method).
Parental involvement (Parents study with their children at home).
A fixed core repertoire.

Looking for a piano teacher? In Utrecht you will find the friendly Spanish professional pianist Mar. She lives in Utrecht and studies at the Rotterdam Codarts Conservatory of Music, and has already a master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory (with pedagogical training as well)
She teaches in English, Spanish, Italian, German and soon in Dutch. Lessons can take place at your place or at my place (in the centre of Utrecht) as I have a beautiful grand piano at my disposal.

My name is Mar and I am a 26-year-old professional pianist (with pedagogical training) graduated from the master degree in Classical Piano Performance as soloist at the Utrecht Conservatory, now studying a second master in Piano Performance in Rotterdam, Codarts.
I have been working for 12 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): I have experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both individually and in groups. I have taught piano, music and movement for children, music theory, solfeggio and choir.

I finished my bachelor studies with the highest marks, I have experience as a concert performer and have won many international prizes in competitions as well as scholarships prizes.

Let’s begin your musical journey! Perhaps this is the first time you are playing an instrument? Or you are picking it up having played it years ago. Perhaps you have a dream of where or what you would like to play...or want to improve specific skills to simply enjoy playing more.

My aim is to create a path with you (or your child), to discover and develop ways to achieve your own musical goals.

I offer 30-minute instrumental lessons – these are aimed at beginner students to build stamina, posture and basic playing techniques.
You can combine this with an additional 30 minutes of musicianship, this is for children to build a solid foundation of musical skills –including rhythm, note reading and pitch, composition, tempo and more. Group lessons are possible for beginner players, these can be a fun and motivating way of learning together for students, however these would be regularly reviewed to ensure learning needs of each student are met.

I would recommend 60-minute lessons for intermediate student/adult students – this is to work on more complex musical skills, exercises and pieces.

Goals for lessons:
Making music from day 1
Exploring and refining the craft of playing the instrument
Setting reachable goals to build stamina, technique and musicianship
Developing ‘inner ear’ with aural exercises
Learning musical notation/composition
Casual performance opportunities solo or in a group (if desired)

About me...
I have worked in instrument music education at schools, academies and privately for the last 12 years, whilst playing professionally as a freelance violin/viola player and conductor with orchestras, musicals and in community music settings in England. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and base my approach on the needs of the student, using experience in different schools of music teaching - including traditional classical Suzuki and Kodaly principles to more modern day improvisation focussed educators such as Christian Howes and Bobby McFerrin.

Hello! I'm Simone, I am an Italian professional viola player who graduated in Italy and at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.

Hello!
Whether you don’t have a violin yet, are just starting out, or are already an advanced player, I warmly welcome you to my studio. During my seven years living in London, I taught around 30 students from kids to adult with warm care and dedication.
I came to the Netherlands two years ago to focus on my early music studies, and have just finished my second master in the Royal Conservatoire The Hague with Distinction.  I would like to share my love towards music through violin learning, and hope you will have enjoy our exploration together as much as I do!
