I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam).
I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

I teach students of all ages and levels.
I have fifteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies).

In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.
The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

I started teaching in 2010 and it has been a constant source of inspiration. Following the students development, participating in their own discoveries and guiding them through the enriching process of learning music is very fulfilling.

One-to-one music lessons inspired by the teachings of Suzuki, Havas, Hoppenot, and Galway.

The lessons are adjusted according to age, level, and interests. The most important is that the student will learn in an enjoyable way for them.

It is only possible to take 45 min. lessons when the student receives more than one lesson a week -which is highly recommended for anyone that might want to become a professional musician. Lessons longer than an hour are also possible for anyone over 14 years old.

The trumpet is a wonderful instrument. I therefore propose to initiate those who would be interested as well as to help people who are already familiar with this instrument. I've been playing this instrument for 14 years, 10 of which in a conservatory, and I never got tired of it.

My way of teaching is mainly based on the management of one's breath and the development of one's musical ear, with breathing exercises, listening, technique etc.
Thus, my method is just as suitable for young children who want to learn this instrument, as for older people.

My goal is to advance the student without discouraging or overloading with work. That the desire to learn continues.

In support, I can lend manuals and sheet music (although I strongly recommend having your own) as well as teach music reading.

In order to play an instrument well, you can't just have fun, you have to learn the right basic technique. I offer such a lesson so that you learn properly and still don't lose any fun.

I'm now doing my master's degree in both violin and viola. I study in Germany and Belgium at the same time. I can now speak German very fluently, but I'm still on the way to being able to speak French. :)

Here is some information about me:

I obtained my master's degree at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts as a solo violinist, as well as in chamber music.
Since 2018 I have held a position in the 2nd Violin Group of the Belgian National Orchestra in Brussels.
As an enthusiastic chamber music player, I play regularly and give concerts with different ensembles in Belgium as the Brussels String Quartet.
Teaching and sharing with you all my music knowledge has a very important role in my life.
My research on how to deal with stress on stage is another topic that I find essential and very helpful for everyone who has some issues and wants to improve in that way.

Hello,

I give music or musical awareness lessons for children aged 4 to 13. I will teach beginners to sing and very young children to learn about music. I am a student, 22 years old, at the conservatory and I have been into music since a very young age. I have quite a bit of experience with children, I taught as a volunteer in a primary school in Peru and I did a lot of babysitting here in Brussels.

Whether you want to play just for fun or to become a professional pianist I can give you a personalised course. At the beginning of the course, I will evaluate your level and give you recommendations of what we can work on. There are two main types of courses:

- a hobbyist course: it won’t be time consuming. I will help you learn new pieces and a little theory and solfege. The primary goal of this course is to make you enjoy playing in your spare time without having to practice too much.

Starting from the fact that an Epic Intro of each song can determine the success of your artistic compositions, it is important to say that musical composition is a key tool to create and develop songs and concerts, through ensemble rhythms and their Syncopations you will learn to compose Epic Intros with the Afro-Cuban and Latin flavor.
