I have 6 years of experience teaching both cello and music theory, both as separate subjects and as a combined learning program. In this time I have worked with many different students with different skill levels and ages.
My lessons adapt to the students goals, skills, previous knowledge and learning styles. On our first lesson we will determine what the starting point is, what we ant to achieve in the short and long term, and we will make a plan to get there that best suits you.

I hold two bachelor degrees in cello performance, one from Escuela Superior de Música de Alto Rendimiento (Spain), and one from Koninklijk Conservatorium Gent (Belgium). I also hold a Professional Degree in Music from Conservatorio Profesional de Música Jesús Guridi. I am currently working on my Master Degree in Music Performance.

Hello dear aspiring cellists!

My name is David and I recently live in Ghent.
I started playing the cello when I was barely 3 and have since received a range of teachers and techniques that I would like to share with you! For example, I have been a regular student at various concervatories since I was 13, such as the KCB and CRB in Brussels, KCA antwerpen, CvA Amsterdam, ... With teachers such as Didier, Marie Hallynck, Walter Grimmer, Edmont Baert, Justus Grimm, Lâzlo Fenyö, Claudio Bohorquez, Jeroen Reuling, Olsi Leka, Jerôme Pernoo, Dimitri Ferschtmann, Vladimir Perlin, ... in both French, Russian, German and Belgian cello schools.
I am also a winner and laureate of many national and international competitions from Belgium to Bulgaria and have a rich experience in chamber music and solo recitals with organizations such as the Flanders Festival, the Musique de Chambre de Wallonie, the Arte Amanti festival, etc. with national and international artists and colleagues. and as a soloist with orchestra. (concertos such as Shostakovitch, Shumann, Haydn, Tchaikovsky's rococo etc). Recently I also do more and more studio work outside the classical genre. I have also been giving private lessons to advanced and less advanced aspiring professional and enthusiastic amateurs for years and I provide coaching for exams and competitions. Hello! I'm David, a spanish flutist. I really enjoy teaching and performing, and I have previous experience as a flute teacher back in Spain, so I would like to have some new students here in Ghent as well. I can also help you with other music stuff like theory, solfege and harmony if you want that. My music lessons are suitable for all level students, from begginers to advanced players, and we can work either in classical repertoire or in any other genre that you'd like (pop, irish, rock).

Hi! I'm a violinist currently finishing a Master's in Music at Royal Conservatory in Ghent. I started playing violin at the age of 6, and studying with numerous professors made me realize how important an individualized pedagogical approach is for good development. My aim is to motivate students to be creative and enjoy playing music, helping them express their own ideas. I studied at the conservatories of Antwerp and Ghent and obtained my master's degree as a performing musician and my diploma in specific teacher training. In addition to experience as a performing musician, I am also active as a teacher of solfège and cello. I have experience as a teacher with children and adults.

Today - after completing an extensive selection procedure - Laurens is professionally active as a clarinetist with the Royal Marine Band, one of the prestigious orchestras of the Belgian army.

In addition to his education at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent, Laurens has had the opportunity to learn several times in a number of masterclasses by, among others, Arno Piters (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Davide Lattuada (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Bart de Karter (New Amsterdam Clarinet Quartet), Pascal Moragues (Orchester de Paris), Ricardo Mataredonna (The La Monnaie Theatre), David Van Maele (Royal Music Chapel of the Guides), Bart Watté (Royal Music Chapel of the Guides) etc.

Both as a freelancer and an active member, Laurens has played in various orchestras, such as the Royal Band of the Belgian Air Force, Frascati Symphonic, the Euregio Youth Orchestra, the Mahler Student Festival Orchestra, La Chapelle Sauvage, Flanders Young Symphony Orchestra, the Ghent University Symphony Orchestra, the Ghent University Harmony Orchestra...

Since 2021, Laurens has been a member of the Meraki Wind Quintet, with which he has already successfully participated in a number of competitions, including the IMC International Music Competition 2023 (1er Prix à l'unanimité), the Euterpe Music Awards 2022 (gold prize), the Classic Pure Vienna International Music Competition 2022 (special mention), and the Fanny Mendelssohn International Online Competition 2022/23 (second prize).

In addition, Laurens is also active as a conductor, both in a symphonic and harmonic orchestra. He takes conducting lessons with Kristiina Posska (chief conductor of Flanders Symphony Orchestra), Bart Picqueur (composer and conductor) and Dimitri Bracke (conductor) and is active as a permanent conductor with the Fantasietjes in the Muziekvereniging Bellegem and freelance with various other associations.

I am Jess, a musician and producer from Ghent, graduated as a bachelor in music at PXL Hasselt. In the meantime I have been teaching guitar for 10 years at music studios and in the form of private lessons at home. Besides teaching I have my own project called Monagi and I write/produce for bands like Tout Va Bien and Patches. I also play guitar at TheShadow Machine. All my lessons take place in a relaxed atmosphere in my music studio in Ghent at your own pace.

For beginners: During our guitar lesson you can bring your own songs that you want to work on or together we will see what the best songs are for you and what you can learn the most from. This ranges from the basic chords that make up most pop / rock songs to playing along with the melody or accompanying yourself while singing. So you can play what you always dreamed of in no time!

For advanced users: Together we look at what you want to work on in terms of rhythm, soloing or improvisation. Which styles you are familiar with or which you would like to learn to play. These lessons are ideal for you if you want to broaden your knowledge of the guitar or if it feels like you've reached a plateau you can't get past.

Hello! My name is Marcos, I am a clarinetist and I live in Brussels. I offer private lessons in person (they can be at your place or mine) or online.
I have experience as a teacher for the last few years with children, adults, individual and group classes. Professional or amateur level.
