About Me

Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Nine years ago I moved to Germany to continue my music studies there. At the moment I am doing a bachelor of music in violin and also working as a freelance violinist.
Besides music, learning languages is another passion of mine. Kind, patient and skillful teachers in both areas have greatly helped me in my life and I would love to also be that for others.

I have played the violin for over 20 years and am currently doing a master ́s of music in violin. Music is my passion, I have been teaching violin for 5 years, in music schools as well as privately from the ages of 7 to 60.
My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.
My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.

I have been teaching adult beginners and intermediates to play the violin and viola for 10 years. The focus is very different. One person would like to find relaxation in playing the violin. Another would like to be able to play a certain piece because he likes it. A third has picked up the violin again after a long time.

I have had violin lessons for > 10 years and am currently studying viola at the Conservatory of Bolzano. I have 10 years of teaching experience.

I teach classical and electric violin, always tailored to the student. The lessons can also be carried out using the Suzuki method.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age.

I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Even though music is universal, specific terms and method learning differ from one culture and another one. This is why I propose some individual courses of music and piano for people curions about discovering or maybe improving their artistic skills in the language of Moliere.
