About Me
I’m Ana Romero, a thirty-year-old passionate on learning and teaching languages. Since I was a child, I’ve been attracted to the idea of communicating with foreign people around the world, travelling to breathtaking places, discovering other cultures and being able to read or watch TVs and series in OV.
In order to do so, I’ve studied and worked in different places meeting wonderful people and taking the most of each experience. Hence, I did my Erasmus in Brussels, Belgium; lived for three years in Tenerife in the Canary Islands; worked as a Spanish, French and English teacher in my hometown, Málaga; and recently moved to Aalborg, Denmark.
I’ve always worked hard to achieve my goals and never gave up, trying to overcome any difficulty on my way and having in mind that every cloud has a silver lining. That’s the moto I’ve followed to achieve certified fluent levels (C1) in both French and English, intermediate one in German and to take up Danish.
Apart from being responsible, I consider myself as an enthusiastic, creative, friendly, hard-worker and dynamic eager to keep learning. Among my hobbies, I highlight reading, travelling, hanging out with friends, doing sports and anything that has to do with learning or keep practising foreign languages.
As you can see, my interests are varied and I’m open to discover other areas. If you are thinking of starting a new language or improving your level in one of them, don’t be afraid and let overcome the barriers.
