It was a gift to myself, a standup comedian, to practice using my voice for a different kind of self expression. During the pandemic, I suffered a lot of sadness, like many people, and I could not bring myself to tell jokes. Élodie helped me to sing songs and taught me techniques that helped to heal my heart, and my throat Chakra. I am eternally grateful for her teaching style, and I even had the honor of dueting with her. Élodie is such an amazing instructor, with a beautiful voice, and an even warmer spirit. I felt comfortable, encouraged, and increasingly confident in my abilities the more I worked with her. And did i mention how much FUN it was?! Anna is an excellent violin teacher. I highly recommend her. She’s able to convey her passion for violin in a fun and relatable way for children by teaching/practicing through games and stories. She knows how to channel my son’s energy and keep him focused by making the lessons interesting for a child. She has a really good balance between being demanding yet encouraging and positive. My 6 year old started the violin six months ago and I’m very pleased to see him enjoy playing and learning. He looks forward to his lesson with Anna every week and I’m very pleased with his progress.
