German has a lot of grammar and I always try to teach how the language works and how german people actually speak it, not only how to follow the rules. We'd do a lot of speaking, exercices, games or interactive activities. Depending on your level, there are also lessons in german history, german politics and differences between german, austrian or swiss german.
