Trusted teacher: Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish. Playing the violin is my passion, especially when I can pass on my knowledge and love for music to my students of all ages and levels. I work as a team with you, finding the right method that fit your needs. What is important for me is to work on a good connection with the instrument and find the right basis for the start of your violin playing. In my violin lessons, I would like also to share with you my musical knowledge, show you recordings of great violin players, prepare with you pieces that you always wanted to play and give you the tools so you can achieve your goals in music. I like to share the general knowledge of violin playing as well as basic and intermediate music theory lessons so you can enter in the world of music, but especially to have fun!! My lessons can be shared between violin and theory together depending on what you are looking for. The lessons will be at my house if you are in need of an instrument we can find one for you! I did my Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teachers Maria Milstein and Eliot Lawson and completed my Masters in Performance degree with excellency as well in Amsterdam under the guidance of Liviu Prunaru and Mathieu van Bellen while studying baroque violin with Shunske Sato. I have my own violin class in Amsterdam, and I love teaching. I look forward to sharing this adventure with you! Hope to hear from you! Louisa

For me, violin lessons are about more than just learning notes – it's about expressing your inner world through music. My name is Ann, I'm a Finnish violinist and passionate teacher, and I live in Charlois, near Rotterdam. I enjoy guiding students of all ages—both beginners and advanced—on their path to confident and expressive music-making. What can you expect? My teaching approach is friendly, motivating, and focused on building a solid musical foundation. Whether you're learning to play the violin for the first time or want to further develop your existing skills, I tailor each lesson individually to your goals, interests, learning pace, and personality. I teach in English, German, and Finnish. I also speak some Spanish, Swedish, and Dutch. Trial lesson A trial lesson offers a relaxed opportunity to get acquainted, try out the instrument, and discuss your goals, favorite music, and practical matters such as scheduling and location. Don't have a violin yet? No problem—you can borrow one of my violins during the trial lesson. I'm also happy to help you choose or rent a suitable instrument. Classical music, tango and other music styles Besides classical music, I specialize in Argentine tango. I also have extensive experience playing and teaching other styles, such as contemporary music, Latin American music, folk music, and pop. My background I received my Master of Music degree from Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. Previous studies included Oulu, Helsinki, and Porvoo (Finland). In addition to my teaching, I perform regularly throughout Europe and collaborate with symphony orchestras and chamber music ensembles.

My name is Anna, a violin teacher from Ukraine living in Amsterdam. Music is my profession, hobby, passion, life. I think music in itself is healing. It touches us, brings different emotions, it gives us energy, joy, power. It helps to understand each other without words. Lessons: Teaching is a part of my life. I have had a great experience in Ukraine where I learned different approaches and where I got my knowledge and experience I continue to work and share it here, in the Netherlands. I find it important that my students get their results through experiencing joy during the lessons. I think that the greatest thing about music is the joy of sharing, that’s why I am also trying to teach my students to be able to share their talent, to play around, collaborate with other students making small ensembles, or just making sometimes a simple house concert. What I am offering: - Different approach - Different styles - Individual program - Possibility to play in a small ensemble (duo, trio) - Theory knowledge It will be a pleasure to meet you! I think it is one of the most important things, to find a teacher you can trust, connect to, and be inspired from. I am sure, if violin means something special for you, you are bound to do great things with it and I can help you. I hope to meet you soon at the first lesson! About me: I finished Kiev Conservatory and graduated Master of music in Rotterdam conservatory from the class of Misha Furman. I participated in masterclasses with Marco Terlizzi, Päivyt Meller, Benjamin Schmid, Vesselin Paraschkevov, Magdalena Szczepanowska and studied privately with Benzion Shamir. I am actively involved in Dutch chamber music, orchestra performances, theater, and film music as well as teaching extensively.

My experience with Carla is fantastic. When I first talk to her, I got the feeling, confirmed at my first lesson, that she is genuinely passionate about music and teaching. I cannot refrain myself from referring her to other students.
