IsabelleAcademic English, Conversational English, Customer Service English
The Academic English classes are for university students or professionals who want to develop the skills and fluency necessary to communicate in an academic or professional context. I always conduct 'Needs Analysis' during the first meeting so that I can tailor lessons to suit your exact needs. Speaking, writing, reading and listening skills will all be practised during classes, unless you wish to focus specifically on your problem areas. Grammar and vocabulary are incorporated into the lessons as part of skill development.
The Conversational English class focuses on oral fluency and listening skills. You will build vocabulary and an understanding of grammar through lots of speaking and listening. The aim is to get learners conversing in English naturally, with flexibility and confidence. The lessons also aim to improve students ability to understand spoken English in a range of everyday contexts.
The Customer Service English classes are for people who require English to work in the hospitality industry. In these lessons, we work on oral fluency and your ability to understand customers, management and co-workers. Some other areas that can be practised include resume writing, interview skills, customer service skills and many more.
