I'm an enthusiastic undergraduate student studying Mathematics and Computer Science bachelors. My passion for numbers and problem-solving has driven me to excel in my studies, and I am excited to share my knowledge and love for maths with others. I have a solid foundation in both theoretical and applied Mathematics. During my first year at university, I had the opportunity to tutor foundation year students, which helped me develop my teaching skills and deepen my understanding of mathematical concepts. I understand that each student is unique, and I strive to customize my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. Some of the teaching techniques and approaches I employ include active learning, encouraging students to actively participate in their learning process through problem-solving and interactive activities; conceptual understanding, focusing on a deep understanding of concepts rather than just memorizing formulas, ensuring students grasp the 'why' behind mathematical principles, breaking down complex topics into manageable parts and gradually increasing difficulty as students build confidence and skills; and tailoring lessons to meet individual needs. Some areas I specialize in are Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Probability, and Preparation for Exams. I can teach both the Edexcel and AQA curriculum.
