HélèneManage your studies, apprehend an exam session, understand social science courses, write a thesis
My "course" is not a course, because I do not intend to teach new subjects. I propose instead support / follow-up / coaching. So you bring your class, or questions, or a work (or memory) in progress, or you just come with your class schedule, and I'll guide you in there, I explain concepts or course chapters remained obscure (I love to popularize), or simply I give you tips and tricks to be well organized in your studies and you get out at best!
- Organization of an exam session
- Coaching for students (organization of his working time, his week, his schedule ...)
- Analysis of the working method of the student to improve its efficiency (on the basis of notes, schedules, possible syntheses ...)
- Additional explanations in human sciences (on the basis of the course material)
- Follow-up and help for a job to be done in Bac in sociology-anthropology
- Coaching for any student who has to write his thesis in the humanities
- Proofreading on the background of anthropological dissertations
Concerned public :
- optional high school students "social sciences"
- graduate students (uni / hautes écoles) whatever the subject (for a general course in human sciences Bac 1 or 2)
- students of uni / hautes écoles (Bac or Master) for a course of sociology / anthropology
- students (or VAE) who must pass a jury in anthropology
See you soon !

Youssef Hazem AliEnglish Social Studies (Political Science, History, Literature, Sociology)
If you are looking for someone to tutor you in social studies, then you are in the right place. I have a bachelor’s in political science (double specialization in Political Economy and International Relations) from the American University in Cairo (AUC). I am also studying a master’s level course in World Politics and International Relations at the University of Pavia (UPI), Italy. My education has been inherently multidisciplinary, considering the liberal arts nature of AUC. This means I have studied across a plethora of fields including political science, world history, sociology, modern literature, philosophy, and anthropology. I have a rich experience when it comes to tutoring!
While I flexibly customize my classes to my student’s needs within the social science realm…my main class includes an introduction to political science and theory. If you are looking to understand political theoretical frameworks such as the Liberal, Marxist and Conservative traditions as well as their real-world applications around the world and during significant historical moments, then we will be reading and dissecting these various theoretical approaches. However, I can also tutor on lower academic levels, such as simple sociological research methods, historical analysis, and the like.
If you need help writing academic papers, I can also supervise and guide you towards higher quality content. Furthermore, if you struggle with analyzing texts with heavy academic terminology and jargon, we can run several exercises to help improve your comprehension ability.
Please, stay safe during this pandemic, and I look forward to working with you.
JeanGeneral or applied sociology course, supervision of written work
I offer courses in general sociology and methodology on the one hand, but also courses in sociology applied to certain research subjects. For example, a sociology of the body (fashion, hygiene, health, death rituals ...) or even a sociology of major societal themes: inequalities, public freedoms, media, social movements, family, work, education ...
I also offer written work directions (dissertations, internship reports, projects, etc.) where the human sciences play a role as an analytical tool: clarification and organization of ideas, construction of the plan, bibliographical references and living, argumentation, survey methodology.

SaskiaSocial Sciences - Psychology, Sociology and Criminology.
I have been studying social sciences since I was 14 and now I'm 21. I would love to transfer what I have learnt at GCSE, A-LEVELS and my Degree to students who may not be finding it as unchallenging! My teaching style is very personalised; I want to present the knowledge and then the students develop their own techniques for revision whether that be mind-maps or a song. However, I will also provide my own resources whether that be a quiz or worksheet. I will also test them after every new topic using past exam papers to prepare them for what is to come.
