Online Course on the History of Philosophy, from the Pre-Socratics to Postmodernity

Translated by Google. Click to view original.
Hello. I am Pablo, a graduate in Philosophy from the University of Oviedo, holder of an interuniversity master's degree accredited by the universities of Oviedo, Salamanca and Valencia, and currently a PhD student in Philosophy of Science at the University of Oviedo.
This course aims to offer students a detailed explanation of the evolution of philosophical thought, taking its main authors as a reference. Starting from pre-Socratic cosmogonies, up to the philosophers of postmodernity, such as Heidegger, Foucault or Derrida, it aims to teach the general lines of thought of the different authors who make up the history of philosophy, as well as the characteristics of philosophical thought corresponding to each specific period.
If you are interested in philosophy, this course will be of interest to you.
Greetings and I hope to see you in my classes.

Hello, I am Pablo García, a graduate in Philosophy from the University of Oviedo, holder of a master's degree in this field awarded by the universities of Oviedo, Salamanca and Valencia and I am currently a PhD student in Philosophy of Science at the University of Oviedo, and I am delighted to offer this online course to help those high school students who are having problems with this subject. The main objective of this class is to provide help to students who are having difficulties with this particular subject. From the pre-Socratics to the philosophers of suspicion, all the content required by the student will be taught, always in the most relaxed and friendly environment possible. My main goal is to ensure that the student passes and, if possible, becomes a little interested in this abstract but beautiful discipline. Greetings and I hope to see you in my class.
Hello. I am Pablo, a graduate in Philosophy from the University of Oviedo, holder of an interuniversity master's degree accredited by the universities of Oviedo, Salamanca and Valencia, and currently a PhD student in Philosophy of Science at the University of Oviedo. This course aims to explain the basic content associated with formal logic. Whether as a pure discipline or for its application to computer science, logic is a science of great relevance to our society. In this course, you will learn things like the name and truth condition of logical connectives, distinguish well-formed propositions from ill-formed ones, solve low-intermediate level syllogisms, and much more. This course is designed for those who need a basic knowledge of the discipline due to academic requirements (such as in careers such as Philosophy or Programming), as well as for people who have a particular interest in it and want to learn from the most basic principles. Greetings and I hope to see you in my class.

Need help with studying World history or English? Come on down to study with me. I have a bachelor's in Anthropology and Theatre. I have a wide range in both fields of the humanities. We will be focusing on history and the important human connection intertwined with each. Private lessons in HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY, HOMEWORK HELP
I adapt to the profile of each intern or student according to their objective and level. The goal is not to work endless hours, but to show how to be able to work alone or partially independently in a short time. It is always a pleasure for me to be recognized in the street 15 years after classes, and to be thanked for having provided a real service to the person concerned. This activity is a passion of mine that I have been pursuing since I was 16 years old. I hope to be able to share it with you to prepare effectively, by significantly reducing your legitimate apprehension of exams.

Political Belief Systems: An Introduction to Ideology
Everyone who engages with politics (which is to say, everyone) has an ideology. But not everyone is conscious of- let alone consistent in their ideology. In fact, most people’s conscious politics are nothing more than an inconsistent aesthetic. But anyone who has a world they long to see owes it to themselves to at least be self aware of their own ideology, and they should probably also familiarize themselves with others as well. I can help on both fronts. This 10-session class serves as an introduction to the concept of political ideology. We will begin with a brief overview to various major academic theories of ideology, before moving on to a taxonomical survey of different ideological genuses and families, both “thick-centered” ideologies, that is, ideologies with a comprehensive core specific enough that they can stand on their own as it were, such as liberalism, conservatism, socialism, and fascism, and “thin centered” ideologies, which have much broader and hence much less specific cores, and hence must attach themselves to other thick centered host ideologies in order to fully manifest themselves, such as populism, nationalism, feminism, and ecologism.

Philosophical and/or Sociological Theory: Tailored Lessons and Guided Study
This class offers personalized instruction in philosophical and/or sociological theory, suited both for students seeking academic support and for individuals with a general interest in a philosophical topic. Sessions are designed according to the student’s goals, whether it’s clarifying course material, preparing written assignments, or exploring theoretical texts independently. I am currently completing a Master of Arts in Philosophy. My areas of specialization include ancient philosophy, early modern philosophy, and phenomenology. I also hold a background in sociology, which allows me to offer interdisciplinary approaches to social theory and critical thought. Sessions can be focused on specific authors or movements (e.g. Plato, Spinoza, feminist theory), or organized thematically around concepts such as love, beauty, perception, or subjectivity. The goal is to foster rigorous but accessible understanding, with attention to both conceptual clarity and historical context.

Personalized history and social studies classes. Grading and tutoring of practical work. Academic and secondary levels.
I am a history teacher, having graduated with honors from UNLu and honored by the National Academy of History as the highest national average. I have been focused on private education for over half a decade, both at the academic and secondary levels. Beyond my specific academic training, I have been dedicated to the study of history and social sciences for 20 years (and to the creation of a library—of almost 2,000 volumes—that is available to students: if any material is required, it is digitized and sent). I specialize in ancient history, medieval history, Argentine history, history of religions, and more. I have extensive knowledge of philosophy, theology, and the history of ideas. I also teach classes in politics, sociology, anthropology, art history, economics, and other social sciences that make up the corpus of history as a discipline. In addition to teaching highly prepared and personalized classes, he can also guide, direct, and assist in the creation of practical projects or dissertations, whether group or individual. For academic or school work, grammar and style corrections are also provided, along with tutoring to ensure the work is perfect. Classes are delivered in a constructive manner, with the key focus being on students truly understanding the subject matter, developing an interest in it, and discovering how their daily lives connect with what they are studying. Beyond academic depth and the presentation of the subject matter, a fruitful dialogue between professor and student is highly valued. This is my particular approach to teaching, but it may vary depending on the needs of each student. I'm also interested in sharing study techniques—beyond the specific topic we're going to cover—that adapt to each student's needs, since it's not just what you study that's important, but how you study it. * Finally, the class prices shown in the ad are averaged and referential; the type of work to be done, the number of classes, and the different dynamics and realities make it difficult for me to come up with a "fixed" price for the classes. Teaching is an eminently human service, not a trade in goods. Therefore: contact me and let's talk.
