I studied violin degree at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo in Spain and viola in Spain and at the Utrechts Conservatorium. The research of my final exam was about well-being and phisical education to improve and accelerate the learning process.

My name is Juliette, a young professional violinist who obtained my master's degree at the Brussels Conservatory in 2018 in the class of Shirly Laub. I have played the violin for over 20 years and am currently doing a master ́s of music in violin. Music is my passion, I have been teaching violin for 5 years, in music schools as well as privately from the ages of 7 to 60.
My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding.

Dit wil ik allemaal ondersteunen tijdens mijn vioollessen, zodat de muziek niet alleen in de les blijft, maar echt een deel van het leven van de leerling wordt. Muziek is er immers om van te genieten en om te delen!In het combineren van verschillende methodes en stijlen heb ik de meeste efficiëntie gevonden.

Ik houd erg van folk- en hedendaagse muziek, en van improviseren tijdens de les. Op die manier trainen we niet alleen het noten lezen, maar ook het gehoor, de creativiteit en het gevoel voor andere muziekstijlen. Ik vind het geweldig als leerlingen hun eigen ideeën, vragen en favoriete muziek meenemen naar de les, zodat ze echt actief betrokken zijn bij hun eigen leerproces.
