Hello! I have been teaching Mandarin and Chinese(Traditional and Simplified Characters) in Hongkong over 10 years.

I have BA of Chinese Language and Literature (Teaching Chinese), Certificate of Kindergarten teacher; MA of Music Performance.

In addition, I am an adjudicator of many recital competitions in Mandarin and Cantonese; An actor of Mandarin and Cantonese recitation in theaters, I have also worked as a mandarin recital trainer in a number of schools in Hong Kong. I have helped a lot of students and won numerous awards in Mandarin and Cantonese recital competitions.

In terms of tutoring Mandarin and Chinese, many students have made significant progress.

I can teach speaking, writing, reading, Recitation and Chinese songs, etc.

The class is for those who are interested in Chinese Culture and want to learn Mandarin as a key to understanding more about Chinese Culture. I am a native Mandarin speaker and got the Grade One Level B of the Putonghua Proficiency Test ( 普通話水平測試一級乙等). I can teach from beginner to advanced level. I can also customize the teaching materials to fit your needs.

I grew up in Beijing and has been living in Hong Kong for 20 years. I got my Putonghua teaching certificate at Hong Kong Chinese University and has been awarded the first-class grade in the National Putonghua Proficiency Test. I have been teaching Mandarin for over 15 years and have also worked as a Mandarin Chinese curriculum designer and instructor.

My young students are mainly from ISF, CIS, VAS, GSIS, FIS, HKIS, AISHK, Kettett School, Hong Kong Academy, ESF, Hong Kong Japanese School. Besides the IB, I am familiar with IGCSE Chinese, as well as AP Chinese requirements.

My adult courses are carried out in accordance with the HSK levels from Beginner onwards. I am using the good HSK framework, to help students progress milestone by milestone.

I teach any degree of students, so even if you are a beginner, don't worry.

In our first class, I will spend a little time asking about your needs, and what class you want to take, which allows me to find the right materials to make textbooks.

I will design a course according to the needs of the students. Whether it is listening, speaking, or reading, I will make a textbook for you, so you can review it after class, which will make you progress quickly. If you have any questions during class or after class, please feel free to tell me.

In the course of learning, I will use the example sentence instead of the explanation, so that you can clearly know the context in which the sentence can be used.

You will have a textbook for each class, I will also give you homework after class if you want to practice more.

You are also welcome to take a conversation with me. You can talk about any topic you are interested in, which will greatly enhance your conversational skills.

In lesson lessons, you’ll learn how to read and write Cantonese / English / Mandarin. You would understand grammar and be able to communicate in daily life.

In art lessons, we can draw, paint and make handicrafts. We can do pencil sketching, watercolour, acrylic etc.

Children, teenagers and adults are all welcomed. :)

Mandarin is now increasingly popular and important. In my class, you will learn oral and/or written Chinese through reading, listening and speaking.

The class can be customized to match your learning goal. Here are some options: Pinin, pronunciation, slang, Putonghua Proficiency Test, etc. It can also be combined with other subjects. For example, I have experience in teaching Math (from primary to high school) and English in Mandarin.
