I like to keep it varied - a fun lesson but with loads of grammar improvement, vocabulary but also games to consolidate these. Lessons are tailor-made to what you want. I use several books and methods to make your lesson topnotch. I teach online via Zoom or here in my home. Every lesson I sent all details home so you can revise what we have done and you can see your homework. I am a Certified Teacher of Dutch as an Additional Language and I have a University Degree in teaching Dutch Language and Literature from Leiden University. I have specialized in teaching Dutch as a Second Language at Hogeschool Amsterdam. I have lived abroad for 17 years so know a lot of living abroad. Having been an expatriate myself I like teaching people from other cultures. I speak good English and have some understanding of German, French and Spanish. I have been teaching Dutch since 1995 in the States - in Iowa - and since 2016 in Leiden - when I came back from living in Scotland, South East Asia and the States - in my own little company Doses of Dutch. Since 2019 I teach two groups of students in Wassenaar for four mornings a week as well. Usually people buy a package of ten lessons. For some children an hour long lesson is too long and they have 45 minute lessons.

This class, specifically, is for people who are not native Dutch speakers and wish to sharpen their skills. The level you are on now does not matter, if anything, the less you know the more room there is for improvement! I have been tutoring and teaching Dutch for quite some time and have therefore gained a significant amount of experience. I am very much willing to take the time and make you grow step by step.
