PhilippMathematics courses (mainly) and support
Hello! I offer math lessons for various levels. Mainly for gymnasium / college students (but also for first semester Bachelor students (for example) or medical students, etc ...). I would also be happy to prepare a course on certain subjects if the student is interested and wants to tackle new subjects or branch of mathematics as far as possible (for mathematical culture or simply out of interest)! I prioritize reasoning in teaching, I think that doing without understanding is not very productive I can also provide support in physics. I hope to meet many students in need, and look forward to it! :) “It is with logic that we prove and with intuition that we find.” - Henri Poincaré. As for me, I graduated and am a math student. I am in Lausanne, but can travel to Geneva on weekends.
JulienPrivate Lessons, Tutoring - Mathematics and Science
Dear Parents, You came here to seek help for your child and you did well. Publics schools are essential for our education, but they sometimes lacks the necessary resources to take care of each student individually. I had quite a difficult schooling myself for this very reason. My struggles were no greater than anyone else's, but the schedule was too rigid for me to thrive freely. Thanks to the support of my parents however, I was fortunate enough to benefit from the help of a private school and I was thus able to fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a chemist. I am now a chemist who graduated from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) and on April 11, 2019, I was defending a doctoral thesis in experimental physics at the University of Geneva (UNIGE). All this knowledge, however, is only useful if one knows how to communicate it properly. As you know, this is an essential aspect of teaching. There are boring teachers and there are others whose passion is contagious. I often find that teachers whose interest spreads to their students take the trouble to give context to what they are teaching. This often arouses the curiosity of the students who therefore work of their own free will. Your child's education is serious business, and you are right to seek solutions. Best regards, Julien

NadiaSupport different courses (English, biology, maths)
English: I lived for 6 months in London to perfect my English. I got an Advanced level. I often use this language: at work, during my trip, with non-French speaking friends. Biology: I have taken a lot of courses in this branch. My entry into Bachelor of Dietetics obliged me to follow a preparatory year at the CHUV where I deepened my knowledge related to anatomy and human physiology. Maths: Matter that I like a lot and that I have a certain ease.
NoémieCourse in Math (Analysis-Algebra) / Physics - primary physics - college - high school - bachelor
I am doing my doctorate in oceanography, I have a master's degree in physics at ETHZ, I did my bachelor's at EPFL (Lausanne) and my baccalaureate in France. I have been giving support courses for 6 years, both in private lessons and as an assistant at the university (supervision of exercise sessions) in maths (Analysis, Algebra), physics, and in general academic support. I can help with both understanding and learning, as well as in terms of methodology. I really enjoy teaching and helping my students and I would like to be a teacher after my master's degree in physics, I became a sailing instructor to be able to transmit what I know! MarieSchool support for high school students in Lausanne
Hello. Currently a student in exchange year at EPFL in Chemical Engineering, I offer tutoring courses, mainly in Mathematics and Science for high school students. With a math tutoring experience during my second year of study at Imperial College London, I gained skills in the long-term follow-up of a student in great difficulty. I obtained, in 2017, the Scientific Baccalaureate, Mathematics specialty, British International Option (OIB) and Latin option with highest honors (19/20 overall average). I have always helped my classmates, my little brother and my cousins to help them understand the lessons and give them the opportunity to test their knowledge. My goal is to support the student in his learning and give him confidence and his skills to succeed! Do not hesitate to contact me for more details, Married

EliasRepetition course in mathematics and science subjects
Currently studying in the first year at EPFL, in the Computer Science and Communications System faculty. I offer repetition courses in mathematics and more generally in science subjects, from elementary school to high school level. This course is aimed at students having difficulty in scientific branches as well as students wishing to improve their knowledge or prepare for higher studies in the scientific field. During the lessons, I review the different notions learned at school and try to bring them in a more intuitive and less abstract way. Then we apply these concepts in the exercises. I also focus on developing a method of scientific thinking, in order to solve future exercises independently.
