I am currently doing my second Masters in Music Performance at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. Coming from Singapore/London, both English and Mandarin Chinese are my first languages. I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at the age of 16. I also speak fluent Polish, French and a little German. I take students of all ages, and have experience with students as young as 4 years old. I am a Chinese teacher with rich teaching experience for all level and of course I am a musician at Haute Ecole de musique in Geneva -Neuchâtel .I have got my profession bachelor degree by piano in China .I could give all Level course of musical theories and piano lessons and singing lessons also do not hesitate to ask me.

Chinese is my mother tongue. I taught Chinese during my master's studies in Switzerland. I work part-time as a Chinese-French and Chinese-English translator in a traditional Chinese medicine practice.
I have developed a study plan tailored to each student's language level. For the different levels, I prepare a short interesting text for each lesson, then help the student engage in an open conversation, with a Chinese writing assignment and recitation at the end of the lesson. Of course, for students starting from scratch, I will focus on pronunciation in the first month, as it plays a crucial role in motivating them to speak. This will be accompanied by examples, scenarios, and short texts.
After learning English, French and German, I discovered dynamic methods to learn a new language. I also helped my husband to start learning Chinese, which allowed me to design Chinese courses in an effective and interesting way. Giving Chinese lessons while introducing you to Chinese culture is a job that gives me pleasure. And what's more, I feel proud when I see the progress of my students.

I am located near Geneva, Switzerland and I offer Chinese and Math lessons. Since 2016, I have been providing tutoring services to school students and adults on a weekly basis. I have over 4 years of experience teaching math to international students, ranging from primary school to high school, using English as the medium of instruction. In addition, I have also been tutoring Chinese to both adults and children at TheLanguageCenter in Ferney Voltaire.

I tailor my lessons according to the individual needs and interests of each student. If necessary, I can provide exercises for practice at home as well as supplementary notes for the lesson.

I have been giving chinese lessons for more than 10 years. Before that, I was a radio broadcaster and a journalist in China, hence I have a perfect pronunciation of the official mandarin, without any accent. It provides my students the best conditions to learn chinese, as the tone you give to words when you speak chinese as a foreigner is of great importance if you want to be understood by natives.

I have a strong working experience helping students preparing their HSK exam, I also often teach diplomats, to help them acquire the necessary skills and understand properly the vocabulary specific to their job.

I also love to work with kids, as I was a mandarin teacher for 2 years in an international school in Singapore. I give them a playful learning environment and use fun learning methods, so even the youngest can stay focused!

I believe in a personal approach, thus I would sit down with you and figure out what your goals are, your strengths, and your resources, either in person or via online tutoring. I've been doing this style of tutoring for about 10 years, with good success.

Besides extensive work as a translator, I have experience tutoring university students from abroad, as well as refugees, and even my Czech girlfriend. Not just in English and German, but also specifically working to understand the Swiss dialects. Thus, I have a broad knowledge base that deals in all possible lingual backgrounds. I think in any language, learning is easiest when respecting the unique backgrounds of people and their language, and focusing rather on the commonalities than the differences. Being knowledgeable about linguistics certainly helps in achieving this.
