Music theory, an essential subject to deeply understand music. As I am Hungarian, I studied the Kodály method. It is a rather special method which is characterized by a lot of singing, creativity and rhythmic games, which was invented for the education of the people, not for the musical elite. Its effectiveness is proven by many musicians who have grown up in this extraordinary system. During the lessons we would do several types of exercises: - listening exercises - writing exercises - sing songs, melodies, chords, intervals... (I am flexible regarding this subject, the student can advise activities/subjects (ex: history of music...))
