Cello lessons for everyone, beginners to advanced students (e.g. Conservatory). I always strive to create a positive, confidence-building experience in every lesson, whether the student does it for fun or wants to set higher goals for themselves. I would like to offer my full dedication to you or your child, whether playing the instrument for the first time or in preparation for auditions, competitions, a career as a professional cellist and everything in between! Each lesson is tailored to the individual wishes and needs of the student, for which I can use a range of learning materials - which also includes many duets that we can play together as student and teacher! You don't have to know exactly what you want yet; together we can discuss and try it out to see what will work best for you; I will guide you in the right direction! So please don't hesitate to ask me any questions you may have. I usually teach at my home, but I am happy to come to you depending on accessibility and travel time by bicycle, tram or train.

The content of the lessons is adapted to the needs and wishes of each student. It is possible to follow a combination of music theory and instrument, or only focus on one aspect. Depending on the student's goal, the level, teaching method and music styles are adjusted and personalized in consultation. Together we will look at what your learning needs are and which method suits you best. I am familiar with different styles for both harp and piano, from classical music (baroque, impressionism, classicism, romanticism and contemporary music), to folk music, jazz standards, pop songs or minimalist music. There is also the option to work from improvisations. The lessons are suitable for all ages and levels, the personal profile of the student is central.

Patience, learning an instrument takes time. You have to learn to coordinate the body and the brain and take new paths from time to time. Music is a powerfull tool of comunication.
