I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw! Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc. Book a lesson and try! Alex is the best guitar teacher ever for me! Not only he knows exactly how to guide a student according to his level ,he has so many different approaches for each individual students, I don’t have a lot of time to practice as a busy mom with a 3 year old kid, but some how he found a method really adapted my rhythm and make me grow every lesson I have without practicing at all;but also he is a very kind teacher, every time I feel like I’m having a lesson with an old friend:)) would highly recommend Alex to anyone who would like to take a guitar lesson from all levels!
