Trusted teacher: 3rd Year Electronic and Information Engineering student at Imperial College London. I have 3 years' experience tutoring Maths & Physics both in person and online and I am very familiar with GCSE & A-Level specification. My lessons aim to develop understanding of a topic from the ground up rather than just making students memorise lines in a textbook. This is achieved through frequent use of examples and analogies which students can visualise and relate to. On top of this I regularly provide exam practice and feedback so that students become more confident in applying their knowledge and are not intimidated by the pressure of exams. Please feel free to reach out if you have further questions and I hope to teach you soon!

Tutoring can help strengthen subject comprehension, boost confidence, and build important learning skills. This gives students individualized attention that they don’t get in a crowded classroom. This is designed for those who struggle to keep up, as well as those who aren’t challenged enough. It also keeps students on track during breaks from school, such as during March Break, or during the summer. The main aspects of this course will mainly be going over topics where there is a lack of understanding and going over them until they are fully understood. There is the oppurtunity to go through extra work related and if requested, above and beyond the students required level.

Trusted teacher: Recent graduate from a French engineering school, I am now a postgraduate student at Imperial College. I have always loved mathematics and I would like to share my love for the science with anyone who needs it. My goal is to make maths and physics simpler and funnier to study in order to help as many students as I can. I have already given mathematics classes in France and have developed a certain way of working. Usually, I first go over the lecture with the student, we read the principles and I take as much time is needed to answer any questions they might have. Then, we move on to exercises for the student to practice and apply what was learned in the lecture. The only key really in to go at your pace, there is no rush and the goal is for you to reach the understanding you desire.

Hello. I am a University of Oxford medicine graduate. I will mentor you to perform as well as possible across the board, with a focus on maths and science. Exam results are more important than ever. The truth is that most teachers will teach in a typical way which is not conducive to actually performing as well as possible in exams across the board. The methods are too time consuming, boring and inefficient. I will teach students to perform as well as possible in GCSE exams as quickly and efficiently as possible, regardless of your ability. I will distil the content down into the most concise, simple format and combine this with exam techniques and revision strategies which ACTUALLY WORK to help you achieve similar results in any subject. The skills I will teach come from my own experience of achieving 14A*s at GCSE and 5A*s at A-level, even in subjects I was not good at. The skills I teach can be applied to any subject and will help you to learn faster and more efficiently. Anyone can achieve this regardless of current academic performance. I will mentor you continuously and meet once weekly to discuss new strategies, address concerns and ensure you perform as well as possible with minimum stress.

Trusted teacher: Hello everyone, My name is Paul-Henry and I am currently a third year engineering student at Centrale Paris on a gap year internship in London. I offer support courses in math / physics for high school students and students in upper classes. After obtaining a bac S with mention TB, I did 3 years of preparatory classes and then joined Centrale Paris. I am convinced that the difficulties experienced by most students are due to a lack of confidence caused by a lack of methodology. And the essential point that I was able to retain from my academic experience is: rigor and method are the key words, in their absence the student will only feel powerless in the face of the exercises that he will have to solve. My methodology therefore consists in acquiring a fine understanding of the course before tackling exercises of increasing difficulty with an emphasis on the resolution process. This allows the student to mobilize his knowledge by demonstrating method and rigor.
