I have taught and tutored English as an additional language for over five years, both face to face and online. I would be delighted to help English speakers of all abilities improve their writing, speaking, reading, and listening. I will always work at a student's pace, while ensuring they are constantly challenged. Learning a new language should be an exciting process, and I will, above all, aim to make sure this is the case.

This class will focus on practical ways to improve your creative writing, whether you write prose, poetry, or drama. We will workshop your writing, focusing on, amongst other topics, characterisation, plot, form, dialogue, word choice, and clutter. I'll make some of my own recommendations based on my experience tutoring creative writing, and suggest some things for you to read and explore so that you can help yourself. Each lesson, we'll either look at something completely new that you've written, or, if requested, we can look at something specific over a number of lessons.
