I have been playing the kopuz since childhood and have spent many years performing as a professional musician. To refine my technique and deepen my understanding of this ancient, mystical instrument, I had the privilege of attending masterclasses with the legendary master musician Erkan Oğur. Today, combining my 25 years of teaching experience with my professional background, I am passionate about passing this deep musical heritage on to my students. Hi Everyone, This is Ricco from Istanbul, Turkey. I am a professional guitar instructor who also is playing in various stages with different bands currently. I have a solid 10 years of guitar experience in all genres, from pop to rock & blues and so on. Besides playing electric guitar professionally with different bands, I am also giving professional hands-on guitar lessons for the guitar enthusiasts. There is one major rule for my guitar lessons which is ALL LESSONS ARE IN ENGLISH !!! This is why most of my students are either childrens of expats working in Istanbul or students studying in colleges and private schools whose official language is English.
