How? 26 Letters is both an ONG and an Arabic language academy. When enrolling in our online or presencial Arabic courses, you will be taught by both professional teachers and vulnerable Syrian teenagers. Our professional teachers are the main teachers of the class and everything students learn with them is latter reviewed during the oral-support lessons that our teenagers teach. This way, students learn Arabic while helping vulnerable teenagers work in a safe and healthy working environment. OUR METHOD: Our courses are based on the immersion approach for language acquisition. This means that the only language you will hear and use during the course is Arabic. This will help you improve your comprehension and vocabulary building in the long run while bringing your pronunciation closer to a natural-sounding Arabic. OUR BOOKS: Our intensive Arabic courses are based on a self-developed curriculum that focuses on day-to-day interactions with the local community. The curriculum has been built with the main purpose of ensuring the rapid acquisition of language fluency. The estimated timeline for the completion of levels when taking 5 hours a week is: Basic level (A1) 2 months Elementary level (A2) 3 months Intermediate level (B1) 6-8 months Advanced intermediate level (B2) 8-10 months Advanced level (C1-C2) 10-13 months COURSES AVAILABLE: Group classes Online-based groups have a maximum of 5 people, while groups learning in Beirut have a maximum of 8 students. You can create your own group or ask 26 Letters to assign you to one with your same level and you can decide between taking 3, 5 or 7 hours a week. The group as a whole decides the schedule and number of classes per week so they can make it as intensive as they want! All levels available. Private classes Learn at your own pace and choose your own schedule. Classes can be in-person or online. All levels available. Intesive courses An in-depth language training that allows students to jump a whole level in just a month. Each 1st of the month we open a new intensive course with all levels available, so make sure you register before the start of the month! Online-based groups have a maximum of 4 people, while groups learning in Beirut have a maximum of 8-10 students. There is no minimum of students enrolled to open a group, so you may find yourself taking a private intensive course if more students do not enroll that month! The intensive course provides you with 5 hours of Arabic lessons per day, from Monday to Friday.

Rayen made an effort to contact me prior to the lesson to determine my level and inquire what I wished to focus on. She also called at the agreed upon time. These may seem like minor details, but not all teachers do these. She had appropriate level material ready to share and go over for the lesson. She made corrections as needed and readings were repeated as necessary. My only suggestion would be that she speak a bit more slowly. but this is a matter of individual taste.

Fawzi is friendly with an approachable manner. He is quick to understand your level of French and what needs to be achieved. He explains French very well and makes you feel comfortable even if you are inexperienced and looks for the positives in your approach to learning. I am happy with our training schedule so far and I hope to develop and gain confidence in my pronunciation of French and speaking.

He is such a great teacher with multiple talents, He knew my strength and weaknesses. I'm going to continue the course with him until I reach mastery in my desired language, he can easily adapt to my understanding and corrects me when needed while having fun teaching me. I would ask for a better teacher.. I am thankful for exploring this site. I wish I did sooner
