I am a previous primary school teacher, looking to now support children outside of the classroom through tutoring. I offer a range of subjects to tutor, such as maths, English, science and geography. If it's on the National Curriculum, I teach it! I strongly believe that every child should have access to high quality and engaging learning, and I use an adaptive teaching approach to achieve this.

I have been teaching languages to all ages for the past 30 years. I took early retirement in July 2022 and have since been tutoring privately, with a very high success rate..
I have taught in the same secondary school for the past 21 years and my classes have performed well in French and German at GCSE and A level.
I have also done a lot of teaching English as a foreign language, to guests in our house.

These are English skills for speaking, reading, and writing. This will help children with their studies at school and adults to live and work in their country.

This is 1-1 either in person or via the computer as Skype or Facebook Messenger.

There is an assessment to find what level the student is their language skills.

Learning a second or third language is important and very useful in this day and age.
I like to make my classes fun, with different kind of interactive activities. I think it’s important for students want to put in the work which is why I find it important to keep students motivated.
The aim of these lessons, is for you to reach your goals and achieve the level of fluency you want to achieve, no matter what level you’re starting from. This of course all depends on the work you’re willing to put in! No matter what, these lessons will be helpful whether it’s a hobby or it’s for your career development.
I’ve had experience with students of all ages, mostly children, but some adults as well.

I can teach you English in an interesting, engaging and enjoyable way. I want you to feel comfortable and confident whilst you are learning! I am a qualified, experienced CELTA tutor and I can assist you with learning English... I also tutor preschool age and juniors English and Maths. I can also assist you with learning French.

I love my tutoring role because I get to help students achieve their academic goals. Seeing the progress that my students make is incredibly rewarding, and I feel like I'm making a real difference in their lives. I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities, and I'm always looking for new ways to engage them and help them learn. I'm passionate about the subjects that I teach, and I try to convey that passion to my students. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment that helps them reach that potential. As a recent graduate from a Master degree in teaching English, with 5 years of experience tutoring French children and students privately. During my two years of master, I taught English to secondary school students.
The theory and the practise, allowed me to develop my teaching skills and through tutoring I have learned to tailor my teaching methods to the student’s needs.
Moreover, throughout my years of tutoring, I could gave back the confidence that students were lacking in their education, which led to one of my students to obtain her “brevet” equivalent of the English GSCE with a high grade.
The success was hinged through the learning material that I created. Indeed, I produced my own lesson plans and I provided weekly progress homework.

A comprehensive English class for beginners to advanced! Taught by a native English speaker and lessons can be in Italian or French. We will be speaking English for most of the class, you will have speaking practice every lesson as well as listening, reading and writing which I will correct and mark. We will have grammar lessons and I will explain common mistakes you make, as well as taking you through complicated pronunciation or grammar rules.

I have an excellent understanding of language, I grew up speaking English and Italian, and I learnt French at school, so I understand how language should be taught and what some common difficulties are. I am also learning Turkish and hopefully soon I will be able to teach in Turkish.

In these classes you will learn Spanish, both vocabulary and grammar. If you already have a certain level, you will receive personalized classes to improve it. We will take into account your learning capacity, your knowledge and we will find what you are missing to master this prestigious language.
