Hello future cellists! Welcome to my lessons, where you will learn to play (or to get better at playing) the most beautiful instrument ever: the cello. Let me tell you how the learning process will be going: For beginners we will be doing a mixture of basic solfège and posture lessons. For intermediate students the beginnings of harmony and music theory will be incorporated in the lessons. Advanced students will be challenged both in a technical and an intellectual way.

I'm generally a very easy-going teacher, but ofcourse when you are very motivated to get better, I will challenge you with difficult tasks. I believe it is possible to learn music, and playing the cello, in a way that is effective, yet doesn't require stress.

I have been teaching for 3 years to private students and I've coached younger musicians from far before that. In addition to my studies for cello I have studied Harmony as a main course.

I am a professional viola player graduated in The Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I am currently completing an Instrumental Pedagogy Master in the HFMDK Frankfurt and I already completed my Master of Music studies in the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. Parallel to that I work temporary in the Philarmonie Südwestfalen.

Professional violinist with diplomas from the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt am Main in (Bachelor) and Master in Instrumental Music Education from the Peter Cornelius Conservatory in Mainz, both majoring in violin.
For several years I have been giving violin lessons for children, teenagers and adults, who I enjoy introducing to music.
Music theory, music aesthetics and music history and special attention to the body (posture) through various techniques are also taught in the classroom.

I am current in Master in Oboe in HFMDK Frankfurt. I give oboe lessons as also music theory lessons, to all levels and age. My approach is always to understand the knowledge of the student and work from that one, searching for a way of keep the student enthusiastic with music.
