Hi! My name is Alice. I have just graduated with a Master's in Bioinformatics, joint between ETH Zurich and the University of Cambridge. I did my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Imperial College London. I enjoy making Maths and Science more exciting and accessible to my students. I am available between October and December 2022.

Additionally, I tutored in a school in London over the course of 5 months, to help students improve their grades in STEM subjects. As part of this scheme, I undertook formal training programmes. My approach to tutoring is to try and explain topics from many different perspectives in order to allow the student to make their own connections.

Reading comprehensions and grammar will be taught according to what is required for each year group and finally with a focus on spelling, punctuation and grammar practise papers as will be completed during SATs. I cover a variety of comprehension style questions that are inline with SATs and will cover all the skills required including word meaning, retrieval and inference questions across non fiction, fiction and poetry examples.
