I am a qualified teacher that has primarily taught KS1 children. I have been a class teacher in both year 1 and year 2, as well as having been trained in KS2 also. In my previous teaching role I planned all maths and phonics lessons for my year group, having a high understanding of progression throughout the subjects.
I specialise in early reading (phonics) and maths, but also have a wealth of knowledge in English.
I offer well rounded tutoring that is child centred, supportive and effective. I am friendly and tailor sessions towards the child’s needs.

Every child deserves the right to a full and well-rounded education. As a previous class teacher, I know the importance of learning and quality teaching. I believe that a good session consists of learning, application, and the confidence to succeed. I will not only help your child to develop academically but also put emphasis on finding a love for learning and the enjoyment that can come from it. I am a qualified teacher that has been a class teacher to both Year 1 and Year 2 students. Before this, I have also had experience being a 1:1 with an autistic child.

I have been a qualified teacher having completed my QTS 2018-2019. I was a class teacher for a mixed Year 1/2 class from 2019-2020. I was a class teacher for a Year 2 class from 2020-2021. From September - December 2021 I was a class teacher for a Year 1 class. All in mainstream schools in the U.K.
