My apologies to Vendula for not having written this review before now. Three weeks ago I was in Lyon for the weekend and Vendula was my tutor. I chose Vendula as she seemed to be very bubbly, friendly and understanding of my learning needs and level. Her communication was excellent and she gave much thought about how best to maximise my learning experience. We met as agreed and Vendula was exactly how she seemed - interested, interesting and passionate about providing the best learning environment for me, and she was incredibly patient. I throughly enjoyed her company and we experienced much of Lyon’s culture, including local delicacies, cafe theatre entertainment and the popular Sunday fresh food market. Vendula had taken the time to prepare 9 tasks for me, which ranged from speaking with strangers to obtain information to solving clues relating to Lyon history. It was excellent and provided a great framework for my learning. I strongly recommend Vendula and hope that one day we can meet again, for me to advance my French conversational skills further. I have been taking private lessons from Joao for more than 6 months and I am completely thrilled with it! Although I am a beginner in piano, I can see that Joao is very knowledgeable in his field. What I like most is that he utilizes technology very effectively to help me understand tricky theoretical concepts. He also prepares tailored exercises for me, which makes me feel very valued. He really puts his time in preparing homeworks and supplementary documents even before and after the class to be sure that I understand what he is teaching. Joao is also quite responsive. He is very flexible in terms of the course content and willing to adapt to my changing needs over time. Still, as a teacher, he keeps in mind what foundations I need to build and he does not lose track of what I want as an ultimate goal, so he comes with a structured curriculum that I realize over time. I can only recommend Joao if you are looking for a dedicated piano teacher who loves what he does.

I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Her explanations and corrections to evolve are concreet and very well done, which makes things easier to understand. She makes you love music and violin. She has a good time notion and makes the hour of the class efficient as she makes you work on different things. She's also a very nice person! Enjoy your class with katja :)
