Hello! I am Zachary. I hold two undergraduate degrees: Bachelor of Science in Physics (with minor in Computer Science) from the University of Buea and Bachelor of Education in Physics (with minor in Mathematics) from the Higher Teacher Training College Bambili. I have also taken most of the courses of Master of Science in Physics from the University of Buea and I am currently doing a Master of Education in Advanced Teaching from University of the People, Pasadena, CA, USA. I am a government-certified teacher who have been teaching grades 6 to 12 students Physics and Mathematics for over 12 years. I am versed with in-person and online teaching and I have never met a problem that I could not solve. I use a variety of instructional techniques to foster educational equity and inclusion. This differentiated instruction has enabled my students to improve their learning and achieve the instructional objectives and learning outcomes. Some of the courses covered in my M.Ed. degree program include History and Philosophy of Education, Curriculum Design, Classroom Management, Learning Theory, Measurement and Evaluation, Diversity and Inclusion, Overcoming Learning Barriers, Instructional Techniques at the Secondary School, Education for Sustainable Development, Education for Global Competence, Adolescent Development, Advanced Practices for Teaching STEM at the Secondary Level, Research in Education, and Applied Professional Enquiry, amongst others. My students have improved over the years and have performed remarkably in public and harmonized examinations. I will be looking forward to guiding students toward a bright academic and professional future. Thank you.

Trusted teacher: I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently I work as a post-doctoral researcher in Aerospace Engineering Faculty of TU Delft (Delft University of Technology). I have ample experience in teaching all the courses related to Engineering such as - Mathematics (algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, intellectual math, and advanced engineering mathematics), - Mechanical engineering courses (Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, Applied Mechanics, Composite Structures, Flight, Machine Elements, Manufacturing, 3D printing, etc), - Physics (mechanics, momentum and energy, electricity, charge and current, electric and magnetic fields, waves, particle physics, nuclear decay, astrophysics, cosmology, oscillations, etc), - CAD/CAM software (Autocad, Solidworks), and - Mechanical design packages (ANSYS, APDL programming, ABAQUS, MATLAB, Symbolic MATLAB, LS-DYNA). My more specific research and teaching interests are: • Additive manufacturing • Mechanical metamaterials • Acoustical metamaterials • Electromagnetic metamaterials • Aeroacoustics • Soft matter and soft robotics • Fatigue and fracture mechanics • Experimental mechanics • Multiscale numerical modelling • Biomaterials • Porous materials • Manufacturing of medical devices and implants • Deep learning • Image processing • Topology optimization • Origami and Kirigami structures • Self-folding and self-assembly structures • Tissue engineering • Permeability in porous materials • Fluid-Solid Interaction Not all the teachers are good at teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and informing the students about the importance of what they are learning. That is why mathematical based engineering courses (such as Statics or Strength of Materials) are mostly boring for the students. The other problem that many students have with courses with strong mathematical background is that their mathematical basis is weak and therefore they cannot follow the course. I usually try to start my course from the basics and therefore actively engage as many students as possible in the class (even the weak ones). I also usually try to inform the students about the importance of what they are learning in the class by giving them some examples. This makes them more inspired and interested into what they are learning. If you have extra questions before starting a class, don't hesitate to ask me :)

Mathematics course taught by engineering graduate who has more than 10 years of experience in teaching mathematics (up to undergraduate level), and more than 3 years of experience in teaching and guiding standardized tests (GRE and SAT). I will help you to learn standardized courses (GRE, SAT, and even TOEFL) more effectively. Mathematics lessons are available for the students up to Bachelor level which includes, Bachelor Students, IB (Math SL and Math HL) students, A level students, European S6 and S7 level students, GCSE students, and IGCSE students. Science (Physics and Chemistry) course is available for the students up to European upper secondary level, IB and A level. Science (Biology) lessons are available up for the students up to European Secondary level, GCSE level, and IGCSE level. Currently, I am teaching: 1. GCSE Students 2. IGCSE Students 3. IB students 4. European School Students 5. AS/A level students 6. Lycée Vauban students 7. Athénée de Luxembourg students Homework help will also be available for school students. Student's progress can be seen from the periodical tests in all of the above courses as per the requirements of parents or the student himself/herself. Please read the note. Note: Though some of my students have the course in french/german/ Swedish, my teaching language is English. As the subject is mathematics, it is easy to figure out what is the task about (as I have a general knowledge of some language as well.) and hence I explain the answer in English.

Trusted teacher: 90% of my students don't have iPads. It works very well on PC. You could purchase a Wacom, in order to write with a stylus, instead with a mouse. No need of webcam. I share my screen. Students could see directly what I was writing on it. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------- I got 100% in math during my primary and secondary school in Belgian system and was selected for the Belgian Mathematical Olympiad every year. I took part in further maths competitions where I was well ranked at the national level. There are no secrets in math: practice, practice, and practice ... More you do math exercises, deeper you will understand, your grade will go up, and you will love MATH. I am fully flexible and adaptable to the needs of each student. Beyond explaining the topic learned at school, I often show thing differently, in such a way students could better understand the concept. Over the past, I coached students from different backgrounds and for different purposes. They are mainly from Belgium, France, Germany. In both state and international schools. To improve grade, special math/logic games session during holiday / new school&university entrance tests, ... I respond to all kinds of request To take math courses with me, you don't need to have good grade (I will help you), neither love math but you have to have the motivation to get back on track (and willing spend TIMES on doing exercises, even after the session with me) Again: there are no secrets: practice, practice, and practice ...

David
It is with the utmost admiration and gratitude that I extend my effulgent endorsement for David, the epitome of mathematical tutorship. His fervor for the subject and his pupils is steadfast, and David’s commitment to ensuring proficiency and comprehension is manifest in every tutorial session. His availability is most pliable, as he exhibits a constant readiness to alter his docket to accede to the necessities of his students. This adaptability is rare and precious quality, one that has played a seminal role in my time near the finals. Not only do he demonstrate devotion during his scheduled lessons time, for he is always approachable for additional guidance and support outside his hours. David’s unwavering dedication to the academic success of his students is truly remarkable and deeply appreciated by those who benefit from it. What distinguishes David is not solely his mastery in mathematics, but his amiable and cordial demeanour. He cultivates a genial and hospitable environment; and his pedagogy a harmonious blend of professionalism and conviviality. Kollol
I fully recommend Kollol as a tutor. I had to prepare for the advanced Maths exam in 2 months and it was very challenging for me because I haven't done Maths for 3 years and also I haven't done it in English and also advanced. Kollol helped me with all subjects that I struggled with, explained to me everything very properly, was very patient and helpful, and was sending me additional exercises when I asked him to. Moreover, he was always available to help me outside the class which I appreciate a lot. He was a great teacher for me and I again I really recommend him as a tutor! :)

Highly recommended teacher!!! Matias teaching methods are great. Very clear and concise. He’s helped me understand content for my master course on Python and is one of the best lecturers that I’ve had. Your passion and dedication is beyond words! Thank you for getting me through this hard quick semester, I honestly would have never passed if it was not for your help! Thank you so much once again!
