I have had a wonderful 4-week italian intense course with Emma in fall 2025. My goal was to experience a 1:1 course in person and also being able to apply the learnt stuff directly when going out at night. Thus it was clear to me, to go onsite to Italy. Emma not only managed to keep the fun and interest level up during the weeks of the course, she also recommended places and things to do in Pisa. With her help I was also able to find a cozy and clean accomodation right next to the teaching-spot, in the very heart of this beautiful city. A perfect course package for me. Over all I cannot be happier with the experience made. I could noticeably improve my italian from beginner to intermediate level, found some new friends and contacts in Pisa and overall I now really feel a certain confidence of using and applying the language with natives. On a tight timeline, Mihaela was able to make time to meet with me in person for an hour lesson to introduce me to Italian. For the introductory lesson, I felt it covered a good amount of ground (and she even provided a document of everything we covered and more via email)! She explained hard and soft pronunciation between G + C and pronunciation of vowels. She prepared exercises to help me introduce myself to others. Mihaela even explained some of the historical background of the location we met at, Sforzesco Castle. After our lesson, she also gave me recommendations of places to visit in Milan. In short, Mihaela was thorough, patient, courteous, and communicative! I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
