This other class would cover a range of electric guitar techniques, from classic rock-inspired "Little Wing-ish" hammer-ons and pull-offs to harder rock styles like fast picking, sweep picking and pinch harmonics. It can also be on a completely different path, where we dive into both open and muted funk techniques with a pick. Of course, this course will also be structured around and practiced with the specific songs you'd like to learn and play. All courses will include an intense focus on gaining control over the fretboard, alongside music theory.

I grew up studying classical guitar and playing rock guitar (Austin is a great city for rock!) before studying Jazz at the prestigious Thornton School of Music at USC in Los Angeles.
