Trusted teacher: International relations (IR) refers to the study and practice of interactions and relationships between nations and other actors, primarily focusing on how they interact within the international system. I have extensive experience with the field and teaching IR in exam training format and in a classroom setting and offer a course that can be tailored to your specific (exam) needs or interests, which will roughly contain either or all of the following elements: - basic IR theories (eg (neo)liberalism, (neo)realism, (neo)Marxism, feminism, neocolonialism) - the history of the international system (eg peace of Westphalia, Bretton Woods institutions) - major developments in the history of IR (eg decolonization, the end of the Cold War, the EU integration) The full course that I am able to offer matches the exam requirements for international relations courses of year one or two social science bachelor students and is perfectly suited to prepare for an IR exam in a brief period of time (about 12 hours).

Schools always give a lot of homework for students to do at home. This might lead to some children struggling with managing the homework, doing the homework or organizing their workload. Furthermore, parents do not always have the time to work on this. Admittedly, this is not an easy task and takes a lot of discipline from the student and not being able to do it often takes a toll on the students' mental well-being and their grades at school. I want to help the students foster that discipline and learn ways to manage and organize all the work that is expected of them. The courses would start with regular help with their homework and just spending time with them working on things, and the faster they improve the more I can teach them skills and tricks they can use to organize their workload and do it all on their own! I have teaching experience in international schools in Qatar, Italy and the US with students in middle school and high school, having taught the American curriculum and the International Baccalaureates curriculum. Having taught so many different students, from different cultures and families, I have had my share of experience in terms of homework. Thank you for your time :)

Trusted teacher: Hey, my name is Robert. I am 22 years old and are currently studying European studies at UvA. I am from Denmark and last year I worked as a teacher at a private school in Vejle, Denmark where I primarily taught math and English. I will be able to tutor social science and English on a level equivalent to secondary education. Math however I will only tutor on a primary school level due to my knowledge of the subject not being as proficient as the other two. My native language is Danish, but my English is almost as excellent as my Danish and I will be able to tutor in either English or Danish however I do not that I do not tutor in Dutch. I am good with children, always smiling and happy so I would be able to tutor children as well as adults. I sincerely hope that whoever reads this will consider me as a tutor. Best regards Robert Kolby

Trusted teacher: What benefits you get from my Teaching classes: 1) I am not very strict when it comes to extra time. We can extend a bit. +10 mins is no problem. I always think that long sessions with small pauses are better so that you get a grip of the topic. 2) I can teach in group as well as alone , what suits you best. In case you are out for a break and don't want to lag behind in comparison to what is going on in school we, can have some back to back classes in short time, if that suits you. Teaching has been a long time passion for me. I have taught already some candidates (look testimonials below) and during my colleges days I have held classes with several group of students. After moving to University I was also delivering sessions for my classmates from different parts of the world and I was in-charge of specific experiment for Bachelors and Masters students as well for a year. About Me I had Mathematics and Science in my School time where I scored 95/100 in Maths and 99/100 in Sciences (Indian First stage of Scientific Education) and then 95/100 again in Mathematic for exams Just before University. Due to love for machines I pursued Mechanical Engineering and then specialized in Materials Science (Physics and Chemistry of Materials). In a nutshell I am a Materials Scientist.

Trusted teacher: I am a professional violinist and professional music-therapist. Music has been found to have curative, therapeutic, and other medical values for human well-being and its physical, mental, and social effects have been documented throughout history. In addition to its potential of relieving e.g. physical pain and stress, music has been considered as a powerful resource for the social aspects of healthcare and well-being, which suggests that music can provide and cultivate several aspects of human well-being. I have worked with different disabilities but I have focused my music-therapy work on deafness, autism, elderly with dementia and ADHD. I offer music-therapy sessions (individual or group) to work with people in personalised sessions. Contact me if you want to know more about it.
