My lessons combine practical playing with music theory, so students not only improve technically but also develop a deeper understanding of music. Depending on the students' goals, the lessons can also include rhythm training, ear training, and improvisation. I also enjoy working with students who are interested in the creative side of music, including composition, songwriting, and arrangement. I believe that learning music should be fun, and I adapt my lessons to the wishes and needs of the students. Lessons are available for children and adults, from absolute beginners to advanced students.

My teaching style takes a holistic approach towards musicianship through mastering fundamental skills and knowledge, providing students with the confidence to write, perform and improvise both independently and alongside fellow musicians. Lessons are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour as this provides enough time to both explain and practice musical concepts.
