Learning to play the cello is a fun and rewarding activity for anyone of any age and and any ability! I have over ten years of experience teaching everyone from children to adults, from those who are complete beginners to those who are already at an advanced level. I have helped students to prepare for exams and conservatoire auditions and also taught those who just want to learn for fun and without the pressure of deadlines and exams. I integrate basic music theory into all beginner lessons and can also offer separate music theory classes up to and including ABRSM Grade 5 level if so desired. I studied in the UK and graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with a Masters degree and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with a Bachelor's degree, and I also have an Associate of Trinity College London diploma in instrumental teaching. I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
