I’m a 22yo Italian violinist based in Vienna and I’m currently studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz (KUG). For eight years, I worked as a chess teacher, primarily with young children and beginners. I taught chess in a fun and understandable way, adapting my lessons to each child’s age and level. Violin lessons can be much more than learning notes, technique, and repertoire. In my classes, I want to develop what I call a culture of sound: the ability to truly listen, to understand the character and quality of a sound, and to discover how one note can carry emotion, intention, and meaning. Alongside violin technique, we explore the philosophy of music - why music affects us so deeply, how interpretation changes what we hear, and how musicians learn to communicate something that cannot always be expressed in words. Playing the violin is also a unique form of mental training. It requires the ears, eyes, hands, memory, imagination, and attention to work together at the same time. In this sense, music is both meditation and one of the most powerful exercises in concentration. Regular practice develops focus, coordination, memory, and the brain's ability to learn. My goal is therefore not simply to teach someone how to play the violin. I want students to develop a sensitive ear, an individual relationship with sound, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to become completely absorbed in music. I am a professional cellist based in Vienna, Austria, currently active as a soloist and chamber musician. I offer individual online cello lessons in English, German, Italian and Japanese. I studied at a National Conservatory of Music in Italy with a full scholarship from the Italian government, and subsequently continued my studies at the Music Conservatory of Vienna. My professional experience includes working with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra as well as performing in opera productions. I am a singer, vocal coach, and music therapist, and I have been teaching singing for 24 years. I studied classical singing, musical theatre singing, and music education at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, graduating with a Bachelor's degree 26 years ago. As a classical singer, I have performed at venues including the Vienna Musikverein (Great Hall and Glass Hall), in the New York opera production of The Magic Flute, and at Stuppach Castle, among others. As a pop singer, I released my own album 10 years ago (ELIEM), and our songs have received radio airplay. I can also teach you how to compose your own pop songs, how to sing well into a microphone, and how to accompany yourself on the piano. I have 24 years of teaching experience in classical, musical theatre, and pop singing at various music schools and with the Vienna Boys' Choir. Having also studied Indian music therapy in India, I place great emphasis on the therapeutic aspect of singing. I also teach Indian music therapy.
