Etudiante en deuxième année à l'université de Leiden à La Haye, j'ai obtenu mon baccalauréat option internationale (OIB) en série Scientifique spécialité mathématiques avec la mention Très Bien cette année. Je suis bilingue en français et en anglais, et j'aime beaucoup apprendre et enseigner; j'ai déjà donné des cours d'anglais à une petite fille de 7 ans pendant 1 an, et des cours de français bénévolement à trois enfants iraquiens de 8 ans avec la Croix Rouge.

A second year student at the University of Leiden in The Hague, I obtained my French International Option Baccalaureate (OIB), with a speciality in mathematics this year. I am bilingual in English and French, and I love learning and teaching; I have already given English lessons to a 7-year-old girl for 1 year, and French lessons volunteering for three 8-year-old Iraqi children with the Red Cross.

Sciences can be challenging and abstract, but they have endless applications and help us to have a better understanding of the world we live in. As an Aerospace Engineer student, I understand how difficult they can be, and my personal goal is to make them enjoyable and understandable by using real-life examples that make students motivated about them. I believe that everyone can learn them without any special talent, just good work and precise guidelines can make everyone a master at it.

I am Lorenzo, an Italian guy studying International Studies in The Hague.
I graduated last year in an Italian high school in Castelfranco Veneto, my hometown.
The school I went to was a “Liceo Scientifico”, characterized for giving an accurate and complete preparation in scientific subjects such as Maths and Physics as well as more humanistic disciplines, for example Latin, Italian literature, Art and Philosophy.
Two years ago I lived for a year in Chile through an exchange program that gave me the chance to study for a year in South America. By staying there I had the opportunity to learn to speak fluently Spanish and to develop a deep interest for South American (especially Chilean) folklore, culture and art.

J'ai commencé à donner des cours particuliers à 14 ans, mais je n'ai commencé à le faire régulièrement que quatre ans plus tard, au niveau de l'IB. Mon expérience professionnelle comprend également des assistanats d'étudiants de niveau collégial. Mon approche de l’apprentissage est influencée par mes propres antécédents diversifiés. J'ai étudié dans différents systèmes au Mexique, aux Pays-Bas et en France, ce qui m'a permis d'expérimenter diverses méthodes d'apprentissage et de découvrir ce qui fonctionne et ce qui ne fonctionne pas. En ce qui concerne l'IB, je comprends particulièrement comment structurer les devoirs écrits (y compris les IA, les essais TOK et l'EE) et j'ai plusieurs conseils pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats.

I'm a Physics student currently living in Rotterdam. I've teached Maths, Physics and Chemistry since my last year of Highschool, trying to adapt my method to the student's needs. I can prepare for specific exams or I can revise the contents given during the year in order to help to understand better all the concepts.

With firsthand experience earning top marks (7s in both subjects) and a silver medal in the Spanish National Physics Olympiad, I emphasize deep conceptual understanding through interactive Google Meet/Miro sessions. My students consistently progress from struggling with coursework to staying ahead of their class, developing both competence and confidence in these challenging subjects.
