I was born and raised in Ghent, Belgium, and spent my formative years in the UK, where I graduated in Modern Languages—Chinese and French—from The University of Westminster in London. After completing my studies, I spent two decades in Asia, primarily in Greater China. You learn the basics of caricature drawing. Drawing experience is not required at all. Anyone can learn it. Everything takes place in a very relaxed atmosphere. It is my conviction that the most pleasure can be obtained from playing the piano when you can not only reproduce a piece but also improvise with it. Interpreting and re-enacting a classical piece gives a great kick, but on the other hand it is really useful to get a dose of insight into harmony in order to learn to play more efficiently from the outside, or to make your own variation of it. And I think this can be taught right away on the keyboard for the beginner or the advanced, with whatever piece you like to hear, of whatever genre. I like to devote myself to such a piece and bring in some music theory and tricks that I discovered in the jazz world, intertwined with the classical method as the academy offers it! As far as I'm concerned, it is precisely this combination of reproduction and improvisation that gives the pianist the ultimate freedom! To be honest, it took me many years to discover all kinds of things and now I want to share this!

In this series of lessons you will learn the ins and outs of a number of essential Eurorack modules, VCOs, VCFs, VCAs, etc., and you will get started with them. You don't have to pay anything at all, because VCV rack, a software program, is free.

Sketchup is a fantastic drawing program that allows you to easily convert your ideas into 3D models. You can use it for architecture, furniture, interior design, basically anything you can think of. This drawing program is easy to learn, with the tools available the possibilities are endless. The 3D models made can afterwards be used for rendering in, for example, Cinema4D, where I also have experience. I have already given some extra lessons in these programs. I tailor the lessons to the student. You can work on the basis of an existing assignment or start from scratch to learn to draw step by step. If desired, I can provide homework. I also offer the option of tutoring in Vectorworks, only in 2D.
