Spanish will not only be useful when you travel to Spain and you can order tapas on your own in the Plaza Mayor in Madrid; but in all South America and even talking to the millions of people around the world who are in each continent, eager to share a talk in their mother tongue and thus be able to connect with other cultures; the same desire that you have to discover their language, their customs, their feelings. Classes are divided into conversation, reading, and writing. No prior knowledge is required.

Bonjour ! I am a French tutor with experience teaching children and adults. My goal is to take you with me in regular enjoyable journeys in the French language. Together we will face the challenging grammar but also talk about French culture and funny sayings. I can also prepare you to different exams and test in French. My class adapts from the complete beginners to the almost fluent students. I recommend homework and exercises in complement of our regular sessions.

For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
