Hi, My name is Jeremy and I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths. Helping others understand difficult topics and skills is something that I am very passionate about as an empathetic person. I have experience teaching Physics and Maths to kids from unprivileged backgrounds at the homework school in Saint-Gilles (CASG du Service Social Juif asbl) as well as 4 years of private teaching. In my classes, I aim to: - help students achieve better grades in exams/tests in all branches of Physics & Maths - clearly explain and break down topics - give context and or example applications of topics (to improve understanding and memorization) - help with ADHD & other learning disabilities - give practical advice for university applications (eg. UCAS in the UK) and discuss the exciting Physics research/work and projects you can work on later in life Physics has a plethora of useful and fascinating applications, from the detection of Gravitational Waves and Gamma-Ray Bursts to the development of novel Medical Imaging techniques and Nano-technology (eg: smartphones). It is a subject that I am very passionate about and I hope to make use of my years of experience and extensive knowledge to help you understand and love the subject! the EXMD, entrance exam for Medicine now passed in Competition is now slightly more complicated. The subject of this exam is specific and requires a teaching of logic and not the simple recitation of courses learned by heart. Indeed, it is professors of Medicine who create the questions of the competition and seek to make the student reason and reflect in order to classify him. There are 4 science subjects: -Mathematics -Physical -Chemistry -Biology These four subjects are essential to master because they will follow you throughout your first two years of Bachelor. And 4 non-scientific subjects: -Ethics -Empathy -Reasoning -Communication These subjects are based on fairly simple principles and a lot of logic, which is sometimes not innate! I obviously teach for the 8 subjects.

Mathematics and science subjects can weigh heavily on your study career during secondary education. It is therefore important to perform well on this. This can be a challenge for many students, especially in the third grade. In my lesson I try to explain the subject matter to students based on their own course, my old course and extra exercises. The ultimate goal is that the students gain a better understanding of their course.

The course (and this for the different subjects) will be mainly based on the material seen at school but accompanied by more explanations if necessary. This arouses curiosity and trains the brain to have a concrete logic of reflection.

I like to explain mathematics both to students who have more difficulty conceptualizing its fundamental notions as well as to those who understand them more easily. I strive to present mathematics in an intelligent and understandable way. Indeed, the clarity of explanations is one of the most important aspects to consider when teaching mathematics. Also, I am aware of the stress that students sometimes feel and therefore I make it a point that students do not feel any stress from a math class but rather that they work to their best of their abilities in a relaxed and pleasant setting.

Endowed with a training of mechanical engineer and currently in master of specialization in mechatronics, I put my competences at the service of the general public. The courses exempted are for the students of secondary, as well as those of 1 and 2 year university desiring a preparation effective for school exams. At the end of each session exercises will be assigned to the students in order to judge their understanding and refine their thinking minds. Progress sheets will be returned at the end of each month.

I teach physics for secondary school students. I did my whole school career in science, more specifically in physics. And I am currently in the process of passing my license in order to be an airline pilot where the physical sciences are very present.

The methods I use adapt to the needs of each student. This is the advantage of a particular course: the student can make a specific request to me: problem of comprehension, problem of methodology, training on a specific subject, preparation for an exam, ... and we work together towards a common goal. We begin by reviewing the theoretical bases if I see that they are not understood or assimilated correctly and then I always accompany the theory of the most concrete examples possible and exercises of application. I make sure that the child or the young person is an actor of his own learning because it will be beneficial to him in the future. From one class to another, I check if the previous lesson has been understood before moving further into the subject. I am currently working as a math and science teacher as well as remediation for young people outside the traditional school curriculum; while finishing a master's degree in education sciences. I made that choice after working as a volunteer in several schools because I am passionate about youth and education. I give private lessons for several years, which gives me some experience in the field.
