Hey everyone! My name is Giorgia and I'm a first year student at the University of Amsterdam. Languages have always been my passion, so I decided to embark on this new adventure and start teaching my own: Italian! I love my culture and my country, so I am looking forward to meeting students who are interested in it as well.

Last summer, in 2018 I obtained a degree at the Language High School of Siracusa. Currently I am attending my first year and studying "European Studies" at the University of Amsterdam.

I've been preparing students for the A-Levels and GCSE (language + literature). I can prepare you for specific examinations, language lessons in general or teach you Italian for business. The lessons are for everyone, whatever their age or level (children to adults). I was born in Italy, but I have spent the last two years of my life traveling the world, mainly in Central and South America and the Middle East and Central Asia, traveling and working remotely.

I am a professional teacher with 7 years of experience. I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, and panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice.
I have a language degree, I am certified in international law, and I am a language coach. Language coach means that I not only teach you a language but also how to learn new languages!

I have several years of experience in the field of research, specifically in biomolecular biology. I am deeply passionate about science and I enjoy transmitting this knowledge to younger students who are curious to get more insight or better understand the mechanisms of life.

In my lesson, I can help you to understand the most basic biological mechanism that regulates the cell cycle and provide more in-depth information regarding cancer and immunology, my field of specialization.
