Trusted teacher: Nowadays, English is indispensable in society and is therefore compulsory in school. Would you like to learn English for work or study? Or are you going on holiday to a country where English is spoken? Perhaps your child is struggling with English at school and you want to give him or her extra support. I'd love to help you! I am bilingual Dutch-English with a lot of speaking and writing experience, speak English daily with my Australian partner and enjoy passing on my knowledge to others. In addition, I have a lot of patience for people who have difficulties with different parts of English. I can offer help with sentence structure, grammar, pronunciation, reading skills and vocabulary practice, in order to give you or your child more certainty and guidance in the language. With students I focus on the problem points that exist and I use the school method. If, for example, it appears that a solid foundation is still missing, I can jump in and offer support in learning this. For (young) adults who are not (or no longer) in school, we will mainly focus on vocabulary, correct sentence structure and grammar in the beginners' lessons. However, I also quickly start speaking, reading and listening. With advanced students I focus on, among other things, speaking and listening skills and advanced word use by holding conversations together, watching documentaries and reading books. For starting students I use the books of "English for Everyone" and expand my lessons myself with extra materials, such as tailor-made exercises. Nothing else is required, and everything is possible in consultation.

Trusted teacher: The present course is tutored by a Classical Singer and a Classical Pianist, both study connected to the Royal Conservatory Den Haag. It is preferred to work weekly to optimize results. The singing, and main teacher, is always present to assure the vocal progression. The piano coach will be present as often as requested by the student/advised by the teacher. The pupils will then have the best piano accompaniment. The main objective of the course is to work accordingly with the student's goals to give a well-driven direction to our study. The course it's thought with classic technical basics (healthy vocal benefits) but other styles can be added like the musical, jazz, cabaret, etc... Each case will have a personalized answer. The teachers' connection to the Royal Conservatory also ensures that complex problems can be solved by asking the highest experts. > Lesson structure: ✓ The lessons start with body/posture awareness, movement and breathing exercises followed by an individual set of vocalizes that may incorporate some scales, cords and/or improvisation. ✓ After the warm-up, depending on the student's level and goals, some song methods may fallow and/or the repertoire on which we decided to work. ✓ While working on the pieces several kinds of information will be provided: • The Anatomy of the Voice (body, breathing, vocal cord, resonances, prevention and counseling about vocal disorders); • Language and Phonetic knowledge of Italian, French, German, English, Spanish and Portuguese (+ strategies to enable singing in other languages). • Vocal Interpretation, phrase, prosody, colors, coordination with the piano and tools how to personalize the 'message', among others based on appropriate bibliography; • Drama basics, stage preparation, and fright avoidance strategies. • Music Theory and History in order to understand the pieces more deeply through a quick analysis, period and style. ✓ At the end of each season (non-mandatory) public auditions can be arranged whenever an artistic space would be willing to receive great voices and repertoire. This works as progressive training for students individually and/or coupled - ensemble skills. The lessons can be given in English, Spanish and Portuguese. I have been working with Pakshal for quite some time now and i have only been improving. He is a very well educated and structured teacher. When something is not clear he does not move on until I understand that point very well. He always has different ways of approach to a specific math problem and he has different ways to solve each. When explaining a solution, he usually explains in different ways that would make it easier to understand. That includes using real life examples. Pakshal is very flexible as well, we are always able to schedule during good times and whenever there is am emergency, we are able to reschedule without any issues. He is a very passionate teacher. He is also a great friend when needed! Definitely recommend him!

I started as a complete beginner and not being really confident about my voice. Nonetheless, Filipe made me feel at ease from the very first lesson. Filipe is really motivating and he conveys his passion for singing during every class, which always makes me feel stronger and reenergized. Also, while he lets you practice and work together on the songs you love, he is very professional and provides guidance in every technical aspect of singing, from breath support and articulation, to finding resonances within your body, as well as how to mentally approach a song. Strongly recommended!!

As someone struggling with learning programming in Python for so long, Jerry's lessons literally saved me. His clear explanations helped me understand the concepts better, and the examples he provided helped me concretize the topics in my mind so that I was able to apply them by myself later. He was very patient and helpful when explaining the topics and when giving me time to think about the possible formulations of the algorithms, which released the stress of passing my university course and enabled me to actually understand the essence of Python and how to think when programming.
