Trusted teacher: Math, Physics, and Programming are all incredibly important in the modern world. Take a look at any of the groundbreaking discoveries of the 21st century and you will find it involved at least one if not all of these subjects. I was privileged to work at several international research centers and experience first-hand the power such a tool-set provides. Currently, I am a Lecturer at TU Delft and enjoy sharing my knowledge with the new generation of enthusiastic students. However, I also would like to help school students, who might experience some problems with these subjects, to understand them and develop a sustainable passion for learning. In my classes, I always use a personal approach, relating study material to the topics students already know and like. In such a way I can make sure that students not only understand the material but remember it longer and keep motivated to learn more about it.

Reza - Delft29€
Trusted teacher: I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently I work as a post-doc researcher in aerospace Engineering faculty of TU Delft. I have ample experience in teaching all the courses related to Engineering such as mathematics (algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, and advanced engineering mathematics), Mechanical engineering courses (Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, etc), Physics (mechanics, electricity, light, waves, etc), CAD/CAM software (Autocad, Solidworks), and Mechanical design packages (ANSYS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, LS-DYNA). Not all the teachers are good at teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and informing the students about the importance of what they are learning. That is why mathematical based engineering courses (such as Statics or Strength of Materials) are mostly boring for the students. The other problem that many students have with courses with strong mathematical background is that their mathematical basis is weak and therefore they cannot follow the course. I usually try to start my course from the basics and therefore actively engage as many students as possible in the class (even the weak ones). I also usually try to inform the students about the importance of what they are learning in the class by giving them some examples. This makes them more inspired and interested into what they are learning. If you have extra questions before starting a class, don't hesitate to ask me :)

Trusted teacher: I graduated from the IB programme myself in 2017, therefore I'm very much familiar with the problems that students face during IB Math & Physics. I'm currently studying Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft, and looking back, I realize that most of the problems I encountered during the IB would have been very easily solved with the help for a tutor, since my teachers didn't have the time to help me individually. As such, I'm here to help you with each of the different topics in Math & Physics, as well as providing some ideas for your IA, and also some advice about studying for the IB in general. I'm also available to help in-between lessons, for any questions about homework or practice exams that you may have, which I believe is actually the most valuable part of having a personal tutor.

I have done Calculus at high school and university level (Calculus 1 and 2 )and I have a very strong understanding of the subject. My teaching methods involve improving the confidence of my students and working hard to ensure that they understand the topic that is being taught to them. I am more than happy to answer your questions if you have any :)

Eswara - Rotterdam25€
Trusted teacher: For students in primary and secondary school I provide tutoring and homework assistance in arithmetic and math A, so that the student understands the material better and can get a higher grade for tests. Many schools are only designed in one way that is not ideal for every student. At the beginning I like to talk to the student about what he or she wants to get out of the lessons and what he or she thinks is a pleasant working method. In this way, education is more tailored and the student can make the most of his or her time in a pleasant way.

Trusted teacher: I have started tutoring intensively since September 2013 in Malaysia and I specialize in tutoring math for O-Level and A-Level Cambridge (CIE) degrees. My goal is to motivate students to learn all fundamentals by heart in the first place and implement all gained knowledge in order to solve complex questions. Hence, various methods have been used to achieve this goal since I started tutoring and with the experience that I gained through the interaction with different students I was able to help them to achieve higher marks than their expectations.

Trusted teacher: Mathematics is the building block for everything. In order to be able to solve further mathematics, one must first understand the basics and improve their mathematical reflex to answer questions they are unfamiliar with. In this class I would offer to go through exercises teachers have set, step by step in order to understand the process. Similarly with already completed test assignments, to understand where the marks were missed and where one could improve even when they do not know exactly how to go about the question.

Sciences can be challenging and abstract, but they have endless applications and help us to have a better understanding of the world we live in. As an Aerospace Engineer student, I understand how difficult they can be, and my personal goal is to make them enjoyable and understandable by using real-life examples that make students motivated about them. I believe that everyone can learn them without any special talent, just good work and precise guidelines can make everyone a master at it.
