Trusted teacher: ATTENTION: due to the start of my own study in September, I have a student freeze starting August 1 until further notice. English is nowadays indispensable in society and is therefore compulsory in school. Would you like to learn English for work or study? Or are you going on holiday to a country where English is spoken? Perhaps your child is struggling with English at school and you want to give him or her extra support. I'd love to help you! I am bilingual Dutch-English with a lot of speaking and writing experience, speak English daily with my Australian partner and enjoy passing on my knowledge to others. In addition, I have a lot of patience for people who have difficulties with different parts of English. I can offer help with sentence structure, grammar, pronunciation, reading skills and vocabulary practice, in order to give you or your child more certainty and guidance in the language. With students I focus on the problem points that exist and I use the school method. If, for example, it appears that a part of the basics is still missing, I will respond to this and offer support in learning this. For (young) adults who are not (or no longer) in school, we will mainly focus on vocabulary, correct sentence structure and grammar in the beginners' lessons. However, I also quickly start speaking, reading and listening. With advanced students I focus on, among other things, speaking and listening skills and advanced word use by holding conversations together, watching documentaries and reading books. For starting students I use the books of "English for Everyone" and expand my lessons myself with extra materials, such as tailor-made exercises. Nothing else is required, and everything is possible in consultation.

Ho imparato vocabolario, verbi, a leggere e pronunciare correttamente... abbiamo parlato di cultura, de societá, di viaggi... gli argomenti erano infiniti! Il mio italiano non é perfetto ma veramente ho imparato e ameglioratto tantissimo che non ci posso credere. Sono contenta di averti conescuto, grazie per la tua dedicazione in ogni giornata, aspetto di ritornare a fare lezione con te! ---------------------------- Fortunella is simply FANTASTIC, both personal and professionally speaking... Punctual, gentle, professional, funny... she doesn't lack any detail! I have learnt vocabulary, verbs, reading and pronouncing correctly... we have spoken about culture, society, travel... the topics were endless! Hota is a wonderful person to know, and a great teacher. She has gone above and beyond our expectations and she is always on point in helping me and my husband with understanding the Japanese culture, the people, the language, the places, the lifestyle…. She’s even come to our hotel to teach us, even in the cold snowy day.. she’s really awesome and a lovely person to know. It’s also nice to make a new friend and teacher in Japan..
