About Me
I run Zoom In Reach Out, a photography school with in-person and online courses that teach about creativity, storytelling, and the world around us, all through the lens of photography.

I believe that photography is a way of bridging our inner world with the outer world. Whether being "in the zone" in a mindful way while creating images, or reflecting on our photos along with dreams, journaling and other forms of introspection, our photos are a rich source of insight into ourselves.

I am also the founder of one of the largest independent photography communities in the world.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Penn State University
I have been a self taught photographer who has led workshops across Europe and the United States
Experience / Qualifications
I had a full career working the Cybersecurity industry while in parallel I have run an online photography community for more than two decades and have been teaching creative photography for 10 years through Zoom In Reach Out photography school.

This isn't another technical photography course.
You will learn to see the world through a new perspective.

I invite you to join me and the Zoom In Reach Out photo school to learn about the power of understanding yourself and the world around you through the lens of photography.

Whether you want to learn the basics of photo techniques, or something more insightful like mindful photography and journaling, we will create a custom learning path to get out and be more creative with your camera.

Rather than just collecting digital dust, you will be encouraged to print and use your photos in new ways like publishing zines and other artistic creations.

All skill levels are welcome. Even if you have been photographing a while but feel like you've hit a creative wall, we'll try out creative exercises and activities to get unstuck.
