The trombone has been a staple instrument in music for centuries. This course is designed for people in grades 6-8 who are planning on playing trombone or euphonium in high school and are looking for some instruction outside of their regular band class. DISCLAIMER: I am making this course primarily due to the fact that schools are closed because of the coronavirus. Once things calm down, we can do your private lessons in person if you prefer.

I have made district honor band multiple times and participated in this year's Georgia All-State Band. I have also played in multiple community bands through the years, I have attended multiple honor bands at universities such as Reinhardt and Young Harris, and I have been In West Forsyth's top band since freshman year.

Why take lessons from me?

Taking lessons from a professional will ALWAYS be more beneficial if you are wanting to improve your playing. However, if you are also looking to: prepare for high school, make honor bands, and make your high school's top band, I can help you prepare for all of these, as I've prepared for these myself.

Additionally, if you have any questions about marching band, I can answer your questions for this too. I've marched for two years now and if you want to know what it's like, or if you should even do it, I can help you.
