My singing lessons are open to singers of all levels—whether you’re a professional, advanced, or beginner. Whether you want to grow as a singer, musician, or artist, feel confident on stage, or simply sing for fun, my lessons are designed to meet your individual needs. Each lesson is structured around you and adapted to your level and goals.
I have a holistic approach. Our voice, mind, body, and emotions are deeply connected, and changes in one affect the others. Using this comprehensive approach will help you become a more conscious singer. In addition to vocal technique, we’ll address the mental, physical, psychological, and emotional aspects of singing, all of which are crucial for balanced vocal development and achieving your goals. These elements are intertwined, and when we understand this connection, we can fully explore our potential.
Diverse Repertoire: Versatility is key to becoming an outstanding singer. My coaching covers a wide range of musical genres—from pop and jazz to musical theater and rock—so you can develop a well-rounded voice that’s confident and adaptable. With my experience as a songwriter and performer, I incorporate a variety of techniques and styles to help you unlock your potential and build a strong stage presence.
If you’ve never sung before, don’t worry! I’ll help you explore your voice and develop it with exercises suited to your current abilities. If you already know what you want to focus on, you’ll take the lead in deciding what to work on. I’ll provide feedback and equip you with the tools to improve, planning your practice in a way that’s efficient and tailored to your learning style.
During our lessons, I’ll help you diagnose vocal imbalances and find ways to improve your voice. We’ll set clear goals and explore new methods to use your voice how you want while keeping it healthy. With a range of techniques (such as Estill Voice Model, Modern Vocal Technique, and Complete Vocal Technique), we’ll discover the exercises and approaches that best suit you and help you achieve the sound you desire. Singing lessons will push you out of your comfort zone and help you realize that your voice has unlimited potential—it can be shaped into whatever you want it to be.
Vocal health is a core part of my teaching, but technique alone doesn’t make a great singer. We’ll also work on developing your unique sound, style, and artistic choices. I can help you with performance skills and interpretation, which are where your personality shines through. Together, we’ll analyze what a song needs and how you can make it your own, so you feel confident on stage and connect with your audience without barriers or blocks.
Beyond specific vocal techniques, I understand that singing is just one part of a bigger picture. Our voice, mind, body, and emotions are all interconnected, and changes in one area affect the others. My teaching takes into account these mental, physical, psychological, and emotional aspects, which are crucial to being balanced and reaching your full potential—not just as a singer but as an artist.
Singing lessons will also help you strengthen other musical skills like rhythm, improvisation, and music theory. As a pianist and guitarist, I can also help you develop your skills on those instruments so you can use them in your vocal practice or to accompany yourself on stage.

Some people are naturally more exposed to music, but everyone can improve and develop their voice with the right guidance. Here’s some info before our first lesson. Please read carefully to prepare and to know what to expect from our lessons together 🙂
PREPARING FOR THE FIRST LESSON
Prepare for the first lesson thinking about some songs options. Choose something that you are comfortable with (meaning that you know the lyrics and melody), but also not too comfortable with (so that I can understand what your issues may be and we can plan how to work on them).
Try to sing them at home a few times before meeting me, if you can, and try to do so with a backing track or karaoke (without the singer singing with you). It’s important that you learn to hear yourself without the help of another voice singing with you. Do this so that you aren’t taken off guard when we meet! 😀
Also, I know how awkward it may be for some people to sing in front of a stranger. We’ve all been there and there’s nothing wrong with it. For our first lesson, try to relax, get out of your comfort zone and try it out. It will get better, I promise!

I am a singer/songwriter, performer and recording artist, active in the UK scene and internationally.
With the stage name of Valerio Lysander, I have established himself as an independent baroque pop singer/songwriter, with 3 published records and gigs around the UK and Europe, including performances for various Gay Pride, including the main stage of London Pride in Trafalgar Square and of Manchester Pride in 2017. Many of my songs have been broadcast on BBC Radio and other national radios in the UK and Italy.
I have been using my voice professionally for more than 15 years, with a solid technical and stylistic core acquired thanks to lessons with Angela Bucci and Silvia Gollini in Rome and I have also completed the Estill Voice Model Training level 1 and 2 with Charlotte Xerri. I have also studied classical, jazz and pop piano with Francesca Aloisi for 10 years and I have a diploma in Music Theory, Harmony and Sight Reading from A. Casella Conservatory of L’Aquila, Italy.
